I'm looking at the times and saying, "18.431 for a lap time? What the FUCK ?"

Come on, TunahCroonah, get the lead out, eh?  :D

Apparently, a wing counts towards the overall length.

Add a wing to the Lancia Delta HF Integrale and you will be rejected.
Take it off and you will be allowed in again.

Really?  Hmm I'll have to check mine, I was sure I had a carbonfibre thing on it but it might be a stock size alternate one then.. definitely not a great big honkin' spoiler type thing though if that's what you're talking about :).

Ok, it may be only certain wings, then.

Let us know what you find, if you experiment further.

Get a gold time at Suzuka soon because, when I reported it today, SCEA seemed unaware of the issue.

They usually fix these problems by just removing them.

On the plus/down side, you can get gold on your first lap, if you moderate your pedals.

...I can cut into the 48's without moderating my pedals......

*EDIT*
What I wish PD would do as oppoised to just shutting them down is have a hidden minimum time, anything below that is disqualified. Suzuka for example, anything under 40 seconds or there abouts.

Speaking of the Compact Car race, I've so far run 4 cars through at around 380-400pp.  Lancia Delta Integrale, VW Polo GTi, Vauxhall Tigra and Corsa, all really fun little cars (well the Delta isn't "that" little but it qualifies lol) and I plan on running many more through that fit.  May be worth making an evnet for the smaller stuff one of these days as there's a pretty wide variety.

All I saw was "Viagra."

This is bad.  :o

Since my curiosity got the better of me I checked my Delta :)..

Type B Rear, Type A Front = 3900mm length
Type C Rear, Standard Front = 3900mm length
Dealership stats = 3900mm length

.. looking at the type of front / rear addons they don't visually look like they go out past the front / rear bumper, especially since the wing is more of a roof spoiler than a typical rear wing.  This might be different for other cars though if they have the great big wings on the trunk and huge splitters on the front that could stick out further than the stock bumper does.

I wonder if the problem you had was with the PP rather than the length, MasterGT?  My Delta does have a lot done to it but I took off all the power mods I could so it was down around 400pp with a wing already on before I tried to enter the race.

Well, I started this off with using "apparently" because this was something I was told, not something I experimented with myself.

Apparently, I should have checked it myself, first.  :-[

Ahh, sorry, I misread and thought it was something you'd experienced yourself  :-[.  It would be interesting to know though if some of the Aero parts do alter the car dimensions though :).

If you want an easy time of the new seasonal events; the "Reefer Madness" RM Golf does especially swimmingly.

If fact, the race on Cape Ring Periphery is extremely FUN in this car and may deserve its own drive-in in the future.  Take the RM2 Golf 420pp there for a spin and tell me what you think...

Might be a real fun combo for a much longer race - one requiring pitstops...

And unlike some other events, you can win these with matching spec (<400pp) cars on sports tires.
