I know what you mean Grumpy, I generally have enjoyed most of the Seasonals but after doodling around in some other racing games I'm finding the whole "Chase the rabbit" concept of the Seasonal Races is really starting to grind my gears.  Thinking back to the Lamborghini one (which I still haven't completed), having the 1st place car start out a good 30 seconds ahead and running ABOVE the allowed PP limit to boot makes it less of a challenge and more of a chore.

Other games can make the AI drive reasonably fast mostly clean but sometimes even making mistakes, why can't PD make theirs work right and give us proper races with standing / rolling starts where all the cars take off together instead of being spread out.

Time and Drift trials I don't mind so much, so long as they don't have stupid car / tire / track combinations :).

i agree with your opinion on the AI feldynn it just forceds you to drive like a mad man with no class then force the AI cars out of the way for a pass kinda like the people you just as soon not race with...reminds of racing with the JP back in prologue...

i think i like the new tire model tho getting more than 10minutes out of a set of racing hards is a nice change. the name tags over cars in replays is just plain wrong. there is only 1 car in the new DLC i would even consider adding to my collection and it ain't a GTR or a FR subaru??? Kaz can go fuck himself if he thinks im paying for his 2013 N24 car by buying more cars i will maybe only drive once if he wants my money he best find some new or rerelease some old tracks Red Rock Valley from GT2 would be awesome for some 2-3 wide racing not to mention midfield or apricot hill. this proably belongs in bitch thread also...   :-\

I ran this week's Seasonal events.  I had difficulties chasing the rabbit at Madrid and Laguna Seca, but others were quite easy.  I used the Ford Mark IV to beat Madrid.

For Laguna Seca I had to cut inside corners to pass cars.  My Camaro didn't seem to slow down on sand, as long as I kept 2 wheels on the track.  I won by 2 seconds, so with more seat time I could have done it clean.  Also, my car (Camaro Z28 RM '69) was untuned.

For those interested, there's a purple Formula Gran Turismo at the Collector's car dealer.  I like the color, but probably won't spend 5 millions credits to buy it while I already have a green one...

If it's the purple and white I have it.

Charlie's lot has the all blue one; james_mikel has the orange-red one.  I prefer the multi-color ones... I can always send a level 24 ticket if someone wants and FGT but doesn't have $5mil to spare.

I got to where I was buying an FGT every week, just to stay off the 20 mil limit. A couple weeks ago, I bought the GT40 race car that was in the OCD for 20 mil. That'll keep me from the limit for a little while, and I got the "Penniless" trophy.  ^-^
