was that an exploit of the FF cars in Drift Trials?  To simply drive them in reverse and get them to slide easily?  was it enough to get top points?

curious...

I think they drove them around like a dog doing the butt scoot.

But, but I like to drive my ff cars in reverse....   :'(

It's sort of FF cars in reverse, but with added forklift :D

The exploit basically was you could drive an FF car forwards around the drift course with the handbrake mostly on and score huge points, but it looked like a dog with worms dragging it's butt across the carpet :).  Not really an exploit or glitch since FF cars were freely allowed but it's not really what most people would consider drifting.

I actually did the Rome race. Beware the Series One, my friends.

I bought and set up a Supra SZ-R (the one with no turbo). Tuned it to maybe 315hp/1365kg (461PP). I had no chance of catching the Shelby Series One. I actually hardly caught the Fairlady Z '08 (370Z) in second. I exited and returned to find a M3 '04 as the rabbit, and passed him near the end of lap 5. Good for almost $1 million. (with the % login bonus).

The car worked pretty good. I'll have to drive it a bit more.

I was home for lunch and looking at the Eiger TT. Some fucker has put a hacked car in p1. It has tires sticking out of the fender wells and sounds like an F1 car.

the recently closed Time Trial has some hacked car times too, which hopefully will be cleaned up (on MyGranturismo.net too hopefully)

MasterGT said he reported it so hopefully it does get cleaned up.  The people who do that sort of thing need to know they won't stick.

Having something like a time 20+ seconds faster than everyone else really screws up the stats at MyGranturismo.net

I think we're just seeing a resurgence of hacking Time  Trials because of the last update removing some of the hackable features and people wanting to protest it.

I've never truly been against the hacking completely, but this type of behavior -- attack the people, not the company, does not sit well with me.

It's like a "freedom fighter" attacking civilians to further his cause, becoming a terrorist by definition.  It DOESN'T help his cause.

thanks.  I noticed he put up a statement on MyGT.net at the top of that time trial also, which may have been there before I sent him a message about it... oops!

it doesn't really mean anything, but I was looking forward to seeing my global score change...

he really does have a great setup for those stats on there!
