Just noticed this on GT Planet and figured I'd repost it here, first Season Evnet is up for GT6:

Gran Turismo 6 is finally here and if you left the previous game feeling a bit weary of the possible absence of Seasonal Events in GT6, fret not as the first round of events are now available featuring the Honda Fit RS, 15th Anniversary Cars (where applicable) and the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision GT.

Events are contested with no more than 380PP for the Fit RS, 450PP for the 15th Anniversary Cars with Comfort/Soft compounds or less for both, and 584PP for the AMG VGT with Sports/Hard compounds or less. All three events are a series of time trials and encourage racers to aim for the gold award as they’ll be richly rewarded. This week’s introductory challenges are as follows:

Honda Fit RS Super Lap: Gran Turismo Arena / 1 Lap
    Period of Availability: 12/4/2013 20:00 – 1/1/2014 22:00
    Gold: Cr.5,000  Silver: Cr.3,500  Bronze: Cr.1,500

15th Anniversary Cars Super Lap Round 1 / 1 Lap
    Period of Availability: 12/4/2013 20:00 – 1/1/2014 22:00
    Gold: Cr.9,000  Silver: Cr.4,000  Bronze: Cr.2,000

Mercedes-Benz AMG VGT Super Lap / 1 Lap
    Period of Availability: 12/4/2013 20:00 – 1/1/2014 22:00
    Gold: Cr.12,500  Silver: Cr.7,500  Bronze: Cr.5,000

Note, in order to enter these Seasonal Events you must first acquire your National A license.

Not exactly the most highly paying of seasonals given what we're used to from GT5, but still it's the first one and it's free money so why not :D.

I received 5 15th Anniversary Cars for pre-order. None of them can make it into the seasonal. :(

Just finished this one. Took me 9 laps before I had a valid one.

Didn't spend much time on the other 2, gold and go.

The latest seasonal features the 2015 BMW M4.  One lap around the Nurburgring GP track.  Get gold and you receive 100k credits AND the BMW M4.

Yeah baby! ^-^

That M4 one seems to be very popular.  It's a lot harder to climb the "ladder" so to speak, which usually means there's a lot more participation.  Given it's a prize car that's newly revealed, I'm sure that explains why.  :)

At first drive, I really like the M4.

Ok...so my brother is doing the Mario Andretti hotlap and is having some difficulty. Between attempts he notices the record pace is a 1:13.xxx and is like "How the Fuck do you 1:13 this fucker" and proceeded to check replays. Somehow ppl are running this time trial in an Audi R8 and not the Hudson, What the fuck?

I've used some of his tunes in 5 and always liked them. I won't have a chance to try this one out until tonight.

I just added parts to the prize car S2000.  I didn't even touch the suspension or transmission settings.  It wasn't too hard even with SRF off.  BTW I'm loving that they aren't forcing SRF on us any more.  Too bad we can't filter rankings by SRF.

The R18 appears to be the car for the anniversary car seasonal.

Is there a web page that shows the Seasonal Events, like there was for GT5?

I only have 5 AE cars. They say the Viper works very well too.

Snake did it with the HSV but he had SRF on.  But the HSV usually is pretty fast.

I have AE choice of Vette, Viper or R8 LMS for the SPA AE seasonal.
