I just spent some fun time at Spa with the Lotus.  Got to the top of my FL, though I"m sure some absent names could best me if they gave it a whirl (haha turbo-lag joke.)

One day left!

Very nice!

BTW I find it very humorous that the Lotus F1 car is ineligible for it's own time trial event if you simple change the oil.

It goes over the pp limit. You need to add ballast.

I used MotorCity Hammy's tune (thanks Dude, for telling me about him.) and tweaked it only a little.  He has 16kg of ballast at the 10 position.  Helps with wheelspin and lets you keep that oilchange power.

There's not much time left in the TT, but the OP of this thread has at least 4 good tunes linked.

I know you can still do it.  I just find that fact funny.  I just restricted the hp.

And what's more annoying, is because it comes at a higher PP, if you used the eligible cars button, it wouldn't show up. I knew I had the car though.
The eligible car button needs it's filter tweaked.

That is an annoyance.  Bugs me a lot when it won't show cars b/c of their current tire type.  I usually just remove the filters and view "all".

So I ran this Nurb race about 7-8 more times, maybe more in the HSV, and I believe a win is doable, but it's going to have to be a near flawless race, and the finish will be tight.

The group I had this time, was mostly GT500 cars, a couple R8 GT3s, R34 TC, Camaro LM, and the rabbit was the Oreca Viper.

I was taking 3th before the Carousel on good runs, and getting within 3 seconds of the leader, at the end of the long straight. Never could get close enough to draft him on the straight. Then I noticed, the better my lap times got, the better his lap time would be. He went from running 7:36-37s, to 33s. No matter how much I improved, he did as well. I was starting to get frustrated, and after seeing the rabbit get faster, I called it, before I started throwing stuff.

Other than the rabbit frustration, it's a hell of a fun race.

I took the Mclaren F1 out for another attempt on Monday and only managed a P2. The rabbit was the Zonda LM and I only missed him by 1.5 seconds at the finish.

I used the 787 Stealth and got 1st every time  (6 races ) except when the Zonda was on the grid, could only manage P2.

I just spent some fun time at Spa with the Lotus.  Got to the top of my FL, though I"m sure some absent names could best me if they gave it a whirl (haha turbo-lag joke.)

One day left!

I ran a few laps and improved by a couple of seconds, but i'm still way off the pace. That is a very nice time EX. You do need a few more tenths to get HEMIata though. :) You two are very close on times, you should think about adding him as a friend. He and some others do a lot of GT 300/500 running.

I may do that!  Thanks for the suggestion.

I was mainly trying to beat the two ladies at the top of my list, one of which you beat.  They are both a little "snooty" about their skills at spa, and so I wanted to show them I can hold my own there too ;)  I used to race with them but their etiquette is lacking in some areas, so now I mostly just use them as rivals to do Time Trials against.

You beat one of them with your time, so it was pretty good too!
