Wow first attempt in Deltawing P1 by 18 seconds and I sat at start finish for 20 so I would not have to do another lap. I don't think there would have been enough fuel to do another lap either.

Nope.

That was fun for all of 8 minutes before the bastard in the BMW V12 LMR rammed me three times in one lap before turning left into me and taking me out completely. I felt like I was in an open lobby.

 :(

The car is down on power and even though I try to move out of the way I too get quite beat up at times. That and this thing can be very touchy at times and places. One place for me is the dog leg after the first international horseshoe.

I so far have managed two wins and both with the Delta. I am going to look for other rides/tunes. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Try this http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/hab-racing-online-only-lm-lmp-to-450-600pp-roadcars-sports-tyres-2015-revisions-coming-soon.293305/page-22#post-10231523 with the original settings, rm tires for two stints and rs on the last. Set trans to 242 or higher. (Remember to use 2nd gear). Pit lap 6 or 7 on first stint, remember to switch to softs on last and trail brake turn one. I actually dropped rear to 5, so I have brakes @ 4/5.

I've been using the Sauber and R18's for the 24 minute race. Ran about 12 times.

Won every race using RM and 1 stop.

I drive like it is the last 24 minutes of the 24 Hour race, taking care of tires and fuel.

I lift early, short shift and run at 3/4 - 7/8 throttle most of the time.

Keep an eye on your gas gauge, using less than 25 litres at each 3 minute mark.

By the time you pit and fill on lap 8, usually 95 to 98 L, you will have enough gas to finish the race.

Don't battle with the AI, use them to your advantage.

The last race I sat at the line for 20 seconds, to run out the clock, 2nd place was 30 seconds back, but I had enough fuel for another lap if needed.

Here's the R18 tune if anyone wants to try it. Nothing special.

80 - 80
16.45 - 18.28
4 - 4
4 - 4
2 - 3
0.08 - 0.07
-0.05 - +0.03
Brakes 4 - 7
Trans stock at 242 mph
Diff 7 / 20 / 12
100% using High RPM Turbo
DF 450 - 680

I'm going to try that, Pete, Thanks!

(I was never able to get the delta-wing to feel comfortable, and the Prescolo thingamajig was very tire hungry (though I still won).)

I'm am going to give the Minolta a try tonight.

The Minolta is the easiest win so far. I used Praiano's tune on RM tires. It easily did 1:30's and 1:33's.

http://praianogt6tunes.blogspot.com.br/2014/01/toyota-minolta-88c-v-89.html

I purchased a new Minolta no oil change. To set the gears use 5.500 final then Praiano's individual gears, then use his 3.000 final.

I've seen this in his tunes before. I am totally confused by what he is doing with it.

This is Praiano's explanation:

For a quick and dirty trans. I set it up a bit simpler by final slider full right, speed slider full left. 1st gear full left, 2nd gear full left, 6th gear full right, 5th gear full right, adjust 3rd and 4th to balance out. If something is way off start fine tweaking. Then lower final to suit top speed for track.

There must have been a glitch in the matrix tonight. I ran the Minolta again tonight, the mileage was 55 from yesterday's DRC Seasonal in which I finished P1 with 840,000k winnings (in garage it dose not show any wins. This is now an ongoing problem by the way). Tonight same result only payout was 420,000k and mileage on car is 0 now. I had no issues with my PS3, as in no crash or anything. I did not attempt to go online. I only ran the Seasonal event with the same car I had yesterday. No alterations (for some reason I did need to change TCS to 0 again tonight and I know I had already done that) Please help.

The PD algorithm has some major borked updates. I don't recall which update altered these things, but I know there are people posting screen shots of endurance races with all kind of wacky finish times compared to position. This has actually happened to me recently in a simple A spec evnet even, just a week ago. I thought that's funky, and sort of moved on and forgot about it. I do believe it is a much bigger problem now.

MGT please help.

I love GT from GT1 to my return at GTprologue, to now. It is easy to console. I will buy a PS4 if these things are worked out. If not I will consult with my friends here and probably wind up PC again.

The above is not a threat as they do not mean anything. I want to race with my friends. Number Uno.

Ran for the first time in weeks and enjoyed the wet seasonal super lap @ Brands Hatch. Ran one of my long time favorites the Amemiya Rx7. Have lovee this car from running the first Tuna Cup in GT300 cars back in GT5.
