I was holding out hope they would have a PS4 compatible wheel announcement by now. So with the CSW V2 base due in a few weeks I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the BMW M3 GT2 steering wheel to mount to the base.

Did I read that right?  You are going to get that sweet formula rim as well?

Happy for ya Dude.  Those look so nice.  I showed my wife them yesterday.  She about shit her pants at the price.  Doesn't look like I'll be owning one anytime soon.

I just linked the sale. I purchased the BMW rim, a few days ago, so I doubt I will buy the pair. Although I am considering it. I am still awaiting arrival of the Wheel Base.

Just read where they are committed to a price under $2000 but even with that there is no effin way I am paying that kind of money for a wheel.

Yeah I just saw that too.  I'll bet a dollar that it will be $1999 then.  :D

Good guess on the price.

I have a Fanatec CSW V2 invite code I can give to someone who will use it. It will allow you to pre order the Wheelbase for $524.95 now until December 15th. After that Fanatec is raising the price again.

Code has been given away.

It's all good now. First thing I did was update the fimware (which is very easy to do on this wheel) and check wheel and button operation. That was all good.

The confusion comes when Fanatec calls out different buttons in different parts of their literature. The Select + Circle are the correct buttons.

Thanks Wiz.  :)

Bad news. I had to RMA my CSW V2 wheel base as it was making a knocking noise during rotation. I dropped it off at UPS today at lunch and Fanatec should receive it tomorrow or Monday. I hope they get it turned around quick.
