Car looks great Infiniti. I still can't bring myself to paint a car chrome, but the ones I have seen look pretty sharp. The front end of that car looks sweet. I'm gonna have to RM mine.

I put mine onto a flash stick, transfer them to my PC, do a little bit of post on them (USM and Resizing) then upload to PB and posting. Best way to do it IMHO.

I have found the easiest way to transfer my picks is to put them online through the game. I then log onto my GT account with my computer and copy them to a separate file for resizing before I send them to PB. I got tired of having to get up to unplug the USB.

I've learned for most tracks the best way to get good pit photos is to move the free roam camera over to the pit road exit and photograph looking down pit road. The tricky part is, if the car you are watching hits pit road you loose the ability to switch to the free roam camera. So you've either got to park a car and wait for pit stops or follow the first car out or last car on pit road and get your timing just right.
I found a Nissan BLUEBIRD Rally Car (510) '69 in my used car lot yesterday and bought it. Its a fun little car.

When my moms husband got a new Vette a few years back I told mom the joke I knew about what do you say to a middle aged guy with a Vette. Picked up this Lexus race car. Then installed some comfort tires. ^-^
The weird thing about this "race" car, it doesn't have race suspension, or race trans. Both are the mid grade parts, ride height adjustable, and 6spd close ratio. Just thought that was odd for a race car. Also, it only has 291hp after oil change.

Thanks for the tip Ronin :), I just recently got my hands on an older version of Photoshop Elements so I'm still in the beginning of learning the features (previously I had a 13 year old beta version of Paint Shop Pro), any particular reason you'd go with horizontal over vertical for the grain? Guessing it might be that was the way photos were taken / processed back then so it caused horizontal grain but I am genuinely curious :).
Another nit-picky comment Feldynn. In general you want to lead your viewers eyes into the picture and not out of the picture. In a lot of pictures, you have the car at one edge pointed out of the picture. Sometimes that works but often it is better the other way.

I'm not much for post production editting. I don't have a good photo program at home, but have Photoshop CS5 at work. With the amount of pics I like to take, I wouldn't get any work done, if I started "souping up" my pics. :laugh

It's a neat little touch for sure, makes me wonder what all the manufacturer pit crew uniforms look like now. I'm pretty sure I've seen the AI drivers in offline / seasonal races with manufacturer suits on too, I seem to recall seeing the driver of a Ferrari wearing a suit with Ferrari on it (and a few others). Might be another photo shoot project, the pit crews of GT5 :).

Say you're on the "A" tune sheet. You buy aftermarket rims and paint them. Then switch to another tune sheet (B or C), and the stock wheels would be reinstalled, but painted whatever color you put on the aftermarket wheels on the previous tune sheet. It only worked with a handful of cars, and today's update was suppose to "fix" it.

I don't remember for sure but I think it's when you're choosing the camera or car locations you can press Select (or some button) to "Enable Bob".

We could potentially have some fun with this car. Use it as sort of a cop car chasing robbers. Have the robbers in a lesser car but give them a head start. Once the cop car passes or tags the robber, the robber pulls over and is out of the race. Have the races short, like 1 lap at the longer tracks and 2ish laps at shorter tracks. See if the cop can pass or tag all the robbers in that short stint. If the cop can, one point for cops. If he can't, one point for robbers. Another option instead of one point cops, one point robbers, is whoever can pass the most robbers wins. Rotate cop drivers and see who has the most points at the end. Another option is say if we have 8 people, split up in teams of 4 and add the total amount of robbers passed, that team wins.
Anohter thought, something similar with a twist... Short stints again. Give slower cars a head start. Rotate the cop car drivers and see how many robbers they can PIT Maneuver. Whoever gets the most PITS wins.

This go around it's from the Midnight Drive-in, surprisingly hard to get good photos at Le Sarthe as the replay has awesome aerial camera angles but they're not available in the Photo mode :(, anyway without further ado..I've hated that so many times. It's like, I wish I could take a pic when I pause instead of going into photo mode and not finding anything remotely like the angle you want...

I think that's just for the initial setup, as obviously each pic doesn't take 500 megs...

Once it's exported, you can view it from outside the game in the Photo section of the XMB just like any other photo you've put on your PS3. Then from there you can copy to SD/USB and do what you like with it. They export as JPG's.

I am hoping no one is bothered but I have saved a few of these pics on my tablet and use them to show to people when I explain my hobby. If anyone wants I wont use their photos but its not like I have publish them anywhere or take credit for any of them either. Just thought it would be the right thing to do to let you photogs know.

Well it does sit low like I like it. 8) That car was almost a perfect fit for that particular evnet. The handling was great, tire wear was somewhat manageable, it just needed a few more ponies to finish a pass. I ran closer to the front in that car more than any other I tried.

Yep V6 premium. Premium = bunch of junk I really don't need. I couldn't convice myself to spend the money to get the V8, especially since I kept the Trans Am. Still the V6 is pretty good with 305hp. It just lacks the raw torque of a V8. Regardless its a great daily driver.

In that particular race you were too busy upfront winning, Ronin :P. So that left Sniper (metallic red), Wizard (glossy orangish red) and I (black) to generally get in eachother's way and have all kinds of fun a ways back down the track :).

Anyway, after watching this replay, I figured pictures weren't good enough, so here's the whole lap. One of the most fun races I've been in at the Ring.

I reviewed the replay of the big one at Daytona Chrome. from what my console recorded, Bostons console registered a lag spike from you that turned him inside out starting the big one. It was funny because your car didn't move on my screen but his car suddenly and violently got sent a foot and a half to the right and he never recovered.

From my version of the replay, I seen a couple other cars lag, and that was what really set the wreck off. Just before, I had gotten into Boston,and turned him sideways, but he recovered just in time to get a lag hit from Grill. At the same time, another car was lagging, but I forget who it was.
All of which could have been really my lag. :-\
Also, there's a buttload of pics on that last page, and Josh quoting all of them doesn't help. :P

Lag speed was actually being displayed on his speedo. I've never noticed that before.
After noticing it, I watched his entire replay, just looking at the speedo. The numbers would change so fast at times, it was funny. I seen it go from 300+, to 8mph, then back to 200+ in matter of a half second. (http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/james_mikel/STGT%20forum/lol1.gif)
