Well,the other day I caught my 2000rd Car - It was a pretty silver Tommy Kiara ZZII. Then I spotted this really cool Commodore in Cosmos with Low Mileage and just had to have it. The Game told me that the Garage was full. :o I looked and saw that I had 2000 cars and said, "O.K. you Dumbass, Now what?" :'( So, after waiting a minute and a half to load the Standard cars, I finally said, "To Hell with this nonsense" and promptly got rid of a select 590 cars from the garage. While the Reduction cleared up some 200+ KB of game save data, it really didn't appreciably speed up the time it takes to load my standard garage. I'm down to just about the minimum that I can have (want) so I'll prolly still have some delay time loading cars online (Unless, that is, I put them in my "Favorites" Category).

Croonah: The point was to let you know that the game limits people that collect cars to 2,000 in their garages.

I have about that many as well, and not wanting credits to go to waste, I have a hard time finding cars that I care to buy.

Do you get a trophy or something when you get all cars in the game? My goal is to get one of each.

I have maybe 850 cars, maybe 800, somewhere in that neighborhood. I think only a fraction of them are premium and the remaining 600ish are standard and it usually only takes me a few seconds for the used cars to load.

Shouldn't be an issue with my garage ever filling up.

Counting the car I just sent my self I have 640 on the button. As soon as I get that 1000 trophy, I'm getting rid of everything I have no interest in.....or in other words anything with over 1000 miles with very few exceptions.

I like the idea of having every car. No need to buy anything last minute for an evnet. It would be nice to have events with never seen, unusual, shit cars. ;D

I understand this thought process, but my self, the last thing I need is to suffer the issues Allstar does with the garage lock up and three hours to locate a single car.

Better options in your garage would help finding cars, if only Kaz would implement it. :(

I have 1500 cars, down to only 6 cars I don't have. Never will :P
So 2000 is the limit, good to know.

Just as an up-date, I only once crashed in a lounge loading my garage. The real easy way to load cars online is to keep your Favorites list up to date....there are only 100 cars allowed there and it's quick to access online.
Now as I realize not all of you are "collectors", I just wanted to let you all know that there IS a limit. And because I reached that limit, I have satisfied my curiosity, and have dumped over 700 high mileage duplicate cars out of the garage....It loads much easier (Faster) now, and I have mostly 0.0 mileage vehicles - I say MOSTLY, as I haven't got every car with zero miles, but most are and the remainder that aren't are ones with low mileage.
I am still keeping my 25 different colored Plymouth "Cuda 440 Six Packs, :lolz

I basically have every car. I'm just missing a few of the nonbuyable dlc cars. I don't have problems with my garage locking up and don't have issues finding cars. Better sortable options would be good though.

Speaking of shit cars, I inadvertently dumped (what I thought was) a duplicate car and have now found it went missing.....the Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 2WD '97 (Not that I will DRIVE it, I just want it to complete my collection).

Well, Spank both of you! I got a Blue/Green Chrome turd from Feldynn and a Zero miles turd from Charlie. Talk about a pile, LOL. Now I have a veritable "shitload" of Moves (but then you guys have already seen my moves on the track, :lolz ).
Now that I have two of them, I'm prolly going to have to USE them both. I thank you both for the nice gifts! :D
