Remember .... before you send a ticket/car .... send parts (up to 6). You can do all of that once per day.  This way, he wont have to grind to get coin to outfit a ride.  Turbos/weight reduction ... all of it is sendable along with the ticket/car

Since the time change, the cycle "renews" at 7pm eastern.

Edit: Y'all are quick, 3 post before I made this one. I've done a shit ton of gifting and it is indeed 7pm est, 8pm est when we spring forward for summer.
I've sent a car at 6:58, then turned around and sent another by 7:05.

I have experienced exaclty ths ame thing.  a few min prior and after 7:00pm EST.

Agent, perhaps you need to exit the game or do something within the game to make it check the servers for a reset?  For instance, the type of menu shuffling that makes you trigger the daily login bonus?  Maybe you simply didn't do that until 7:30?

Even if you set your PS3 via internet time you still have to manually set for Day light savings or Standard time.

I had forgotten and just set to Standard time yesterday. :)

Right. I've noticed my PS3's time runs a little fast, and after about a week's time, it's 3-4 minutes ahead of an atomic clock I have, that's set by satellite. Setting the PS3's time via the internet, gets it within a second or two of the atomic clock.

I would love to sendz Baked some gifts, but cannot get back online..... I got a new Laptop last week and my old router wouldn't support the newer Windoz 7 software (was a "g" router). now have a new dual speed 'N' Router and cannot get online with my PS3. While my laptop is wireless, my PS3 is hard wired to the router/modem.  I only use the WAN wireless for the laptop. anyone got any ideas? I'm afraid to reset my PS3 (even though I have back-ups of all of my login names on flash sticks.

Title: Re: BakedTuna's Grocery Kart
Post by: TunahCroonah on November 12, 2012, 12:54:08 PM
Not quite sure...I haven't tried it.  I'm not even sure just where to start.  After all, It's a direct wired connection that was just transferred from the old router to the new one.  Why would a direct internet connection make a difference with the game?  I mean, it's the same ISP and address.

I was just getting ready to ask if they were the same manufacturer.

e.g.  Linksys (cisco) use 192.168.0.xxx while DLink uses 192.168.1.xxx. i.e. different subnets and thus different IPs...

It does take a "cycle" (lease time) to pick up all the settings unless you power off ALL devices, then boot router first and bring other things online.

No, it's the same manufacturer as the old 'G' router.  I got a Linksys EA3500 | Dual Band N750 Router with Gigabit and USB.  Got it at Best Buy.

The Laptop was different - I got a HP Probook 4535s, 15.6" screen, BR player, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, 750GB HD, 8 GB ram, 2GH AMD "Vision" Processor (AMD - as good a Intel, but runs cooler than the Intel) and a 3yr extended warranty....GREAT Price!

The only thing that is standing out in my mind is a gsxr4. And still needing black paint could use white as well but keep running out of black. The used cars I am fine with just coming across them at the moment. Until I see someone on track with something that I have forgotten I had. So I might need to get back with you on this one.  :-[

I thought No_Affiliations had you covered so I stopped my nightly sends...  Give me an update after 7pm CDT and I can send what's missing...  (probably not in silver though...)

don't know if you noticed but everything I've sent was "silver" and zero miles...  (been shopping especially for you)   ^-^

Yeah, sorry about the Suby...Thought it had no milez and no tuning, but alas, it was apparently one of my favs earlier on.  I left the tuned parts on fi so wish to use.

My default is usually to send a broken-in car with plenty of wear left before it loses power -- should I send w/ zero miles instead?

haha I read that as broken car. My preference is for the broken-in cars. I guess some people collect 0 mile cars or something.
