I enjoyed this.  Earlier in the day I received a message from Mopar over at the 4-letter on my Racebook account.  They were running shuffles all day.  Started off the day with them, then noticed Chuck was doing the same thing so I graced him with my presence on and off all day.  Left to have a beer and came back with glassy eyes to find guys were still out racing.

Fun event and I enjoyed the 'bend over, grab your ankles and grit your teeth' level of penalties...just wish PD was more consistent in their enforcement of them.  Some corners you could drive as far off the track as you wanted, others you couldn't even put a thread outside the lines.  I particularly enjoy getting bumped off track and incurring a 10-second penalty.  Probably should avoid this level during an IRR event.

Goos times.

I do apologize for the heavy penalties and heavy damage.

Being an OPEN Room, and not knowing who might show up, I wanted to hedge the bet against jerks and noobs...   It helped cycle riff-raff in and out real quick.  But I did almost get to bounce one guy; unfortunately he left right as I was right-clicking his dumbass.

But, other than the inconsistent implementation of the penalty system on PD's part, it was a rather enjoyable day of racing.  :hhjj

I enjoyed it.  I didn't find the walls terribly toxic at HSR as some other guys did, but I made up for it at Fuji where I simply didn't understand where penalties were given and where you could get away with murder.  Would like to see more of this.

Not sure what happened but we lost all internet/cable/phone.  Thank heavens for snackberry.

Very goos times.  Sorry for room implosion...

I had some fun for a while but that "Z" kid started getting on my nerves and I became too frustrated to enjoy my self. Had me some great position swappin races with feldynn at circuit of the sloth though.

Yeah that race at Circque De Sloth was a lot of fun, Ronin!  Generally it was a pretty awesome Sunday afternoon of racing, I had a blast :).

Thanks Charlie!

It's definitely goos times, but I think Charlie is stacking the deck somehow.  Last night during a stretch of quite a few races, Charlie would finish well, then proceed to get 'stuck' in a rocket during the next race.  One time I actually drove off the road because I was watching Chuck chase me down like I was standing still, thinking to myself, "are you shitting me, he's in another go-to car" and I entered the spoon at Suzuka a bit distracted.

Also, the ghosting thing is confusing me.  First, I saw someone who spun in the middle of the track last night, I swerved to miss him not realizing he was a ghost, and then I drove myself off the damned track.  And second, from time to time we need to remove the ghost thing because every once in a while I need to perform some community service and put some joker into the wall.

I can teach y'all how to stack the deck before a shuffle.  I thought someone would've noticed the week before last when I kept getting beasts on Sport Softs while y'all were on Comforts...

"Ghosting" is a feature of Heavy Damage.  If I kill that option I will have to kick more folks I imagine.  It and heavy damage make folks bounce themselves out more often than not.

@Ronin "z" wasn't that bad if he'd keep his munchkin mouth shut.  Did pretty good for a young kid on a controller...  But his voice was very annoying.  He invited a friend who I kicked almost immediately...

Hate that I can't edit posts from slackberry...

"Ghosting" is more part of Heavy Penalties.  Maybe we'll try it without penalties and see what happens...

Actually, Z I think was the dip shit who I was chasing after he put me in the wall at DRC and I took damage.  I chased that little bastard down to bump him into next week and went right through him into another wall.

I can take a good beating anywhere but at DRC.

Every time I got near him starting at Madrid I somehow ended up with damage after running several races putting my car mere inches from other cars for sustained periods of time and not getting or giving damage (with maybe one exception at London where I got rick but those where my first races of the week so oopses happen and I don't know if I actually damaged him or not). The first couple times I let it slide and even a couple times I gave him the benefit of the doubt but, it was just happening too frequently and when he took me out at Fuji with shear stupidity, I was just pissed. Ya know it's bad when Hey is tellin him to "Quit hittin shit and it won't be so bad".
