zoom zoom bitches!
I'll be there :D

I wish it was Friday already. :)

Do you think this should use realistic tire wear and have no pit strategy, or very fast tire wear and have challenging strategy with 1 or 2 stops?
-
Since I'm going to have little time to prepare for this, I'd opt for no pit strategy. If I had some extra time this week, I'd vote for pit strategy, but since I don't, I vote we hop in the cars and drive the shit out of them.
-
I'm indifferent, but at this point I doubt anyone has really practiced much for this so I think everyone would be in the same boat either way.
-
Has anything been decided on tire wear/fuel consumption?
-
Since no one cares or is prepared for strategy, Normal tire wear it is. I'm quite sure this will mean no stops for fuel or tires.
I doubt I'll be online until Friday night, but I've done my practicing.

I'm going to be a game time decision. We had to put down one of our pets today (pets are family members in our household) and we're all a bit down in the dumps. It might be just the thing I need later tonight or I might hoist a few in Sneaky's honor.
If I don't make it, I apologize in advance.

I prescribe lots of booze and GT5. Or possibly a funny movie.

:stoopid:
I'm in for the race :)

I got off early, (cataract left eye, getting fixed "soon") I need practice or rather all the help I can get. Any takers or helpers please find me @ HostTuna's Lounge. (also, we can sneak on fast tire wear to baffle the entrants)
Also, I have already taken my prescription of tequila shots. :) I do still need a safety meeting or two. (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)

Welcome boots, the more the merrier. I'll be on as soon as the kids are in bed.

I got my Betty breaking in the car and I'm getting ready too.

We were a bit slow starting, but we eventually hit the button and had a good race. Sorry to those who weren't able to race for whatever reason.
With six cars, we eventually got into pairs and had some good racing. Dawson and I raced for first, crack-shaft and Grumpy for third, and no-affiliations an BadBoots fought over fifth and sixth. I wrote the final order down, but it's sitting in the basement, I forget.
Good race guys. Thanks for coming out.
-
Lots of fun! I could put in 6-8 decent, cleanish laps, then I'd lose focus and take an off-road excursion, much better after i linked up with Boots. Came down to a drag race, think it was a few hundredths that seperated us at the end.
-
Great racing yesterday guy, was fun. Next time i need to break in my car before the race, so i can't blame the lack of HP for not being close to the front! ;) Even with the broken in car i don't really think i would have been anywhere near the front. Turbo and Dawson where hauling the mail, great racing you guys!
PS. Till the next one!

Sorry I missed this one. I was looking forward to it. Hopefully there will be a next time.

Sorry to hear that Rick. My parents had to put down our family dog on Saturday as well. I don't feel that bad though, as he was 14 and his health had been rapidly deteriorating. :'(
