Was going to do DWTT too but I see it would conflict.  Cancelling DWTT for 10/06 and will return on 10/13/13...

Thanks for posting the event link here, BakedTuna!

Date: Sunday October 6th
Time: Noon - Evening EDT
Public Room #:

Tracks: Daytona Speedway and Road Course
Cars: Corvettes - road cars and race cars
Tires: race cars = Racing Hard | road cars = Sport Medium

For 15 Minute races:
During even numbered hours, use race cars for 20 laps on the Speedway.
During odd numbered hours, use road cars for 7 laps on the Road Course.

Performance Point levels will have to be chosen based on what people have in their garages. Tuning will, therefore, have to be allowed. Most players should have a variety of Corvettes, by now, including the free Prototypes.

Thank you MGT and everyone who showed to say farewell to our old pal Steve.

 :stoopid:

I managed to hop on this afternoon for a couple of races at DRC, seemed the only fitting car for me to use was a bright yellow C4 that Allstar sent me a while ago (he knew how much I like the C4 style and sent me a couple of them while we were collecting the unpaintable muscle cars).

Goos memories, goos times.  Thanks everyone.

Also:  Farewell Allstar
Also Also:  Farewell Croonah

That sounds about right.  I was in and out all day and I don't think there was ever really a bad or dull race.  I've got several replays and hope to take some photos soon.

I got a note from FatLeadFoot, yesterday (thanks, Erik!). FLF had been speaking with Steve until it became too troublesome.

He doesn't sound all that interested in GT anymore with getting his old job back and all, but he kept his seat and G25s.
