We celebtate the the birthday of Ralph "Dale" Earnhardt by racing at Daytona Superspeedway. Looking back to the year he won his third championship, we will be driving the 1987 Buick GNX (because it shares the Monte Carlo body lines). The only restrictions to the cars tuning is factory weight and racing tires, other than the weight reduction you may add any and all proformance parts and run on racing tires of your choosing.

*When: Friday, April 29, 2011
Where: Daytona Superspeedway
Showtimes: 7-11pm (all times Eastern)
The Car: 1987 Buick GNX
Horsepower Limit: Max for the car
Weight Limit: Factory
PP Limit: N/A
Tires: Racing
Lap Count: 76 (One lap for every carreer win)

* This race will be held provided the PS network is up and operational at the start time. There will be no rain date for this event.

Everything, engine mods are fine, shove every last bit of power you can into it.

*EDIT*
But I would recomend waiting until tomorrow and make sure the network is up before spending the creds on building these cars.

I guess I will just have to imagine running around the track unless Sony has somehow fixed their problems between now and then.

Also, if we are allowed to throw all kinds of power at it, why stop with factory weight? That's like telling a hooker to stop at the blowjob.

Can you get a disease from a blowjob?  (getting one, not giving one)

Short answer: Yes

Well, with these two particular races (Note July 2 race as well) being based on Nascar drivers, I'm looking at a pseudo Nascar spec for the cars. Nascars are notoriously heavy in comparison to other race series machines. Factory weight seems appropriate in that ideaology.

Gotcha. Carry on.
