For those that want to watch the season opener Fox Sports is carrying the entire WEC season. Round 1 will air Sunday April 12th starting at 7:00am Eastern. It will be a six hour race at Silverstone.

Hopefully I can check some of this out. I'm only familiar with one of the teams. Conrad Motorsports. From what I recall they use to race in IMSA back in dark days when IMSA was not IMSA, but was Professional Sportscar. I think they still make it to LeMans from time to time.
I'm kinda surprised Flying Lizard is not registered. I thought they run the majority of the professional 24 hour races.

I guess I'll stick this here. 32 car field expected for WEC this year, down from 35, but the 35 included Nissan.
Also for Le Mans 60 cars have been invited including 4 Ford GTs and 22 LMP2s

Spa is this weekend. It worked great for Silverstone. Awesome picture, Radio Le Mans announcers and no commercials. Time to pick it up, nudge, nudge. :)

I cast the race from my phone which had no commercials and the guys from Radio Le Mans announcing. Then used my iPad to switch between the different in car cams and live timing. It was joyous. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a tighter race.
On to Le Mans!

Buying the online broadcast is worth every penny. My laptop has HDMI support so I just plugged it into my tv and watched the race. Especially nice that they allow you to steam on 5 devices at once.
I've got a second tv that uses a version of the android OS. I'll have to see if I can download the app and run it straight off the tv some time before the 24h.
Also, did the #5 Toyota complete the last lap? They were trying to run on battery alone after losing the engine to get what points they could.

Free practice went off today for 2 sessions. I set my alarm for 5am so I could see session 2. But it seems the update to the WEC app has fucked it all to hell. So no joy, all it does is crash and the website will not allow me to sign in so watch either. So fucking fucked. FUCK!

I've been having WEC app issues. I emailed them and been going back and forth.
Uninstall app, reinstall app, sign in and go to live cam and select restore. Select the package you purchased and should be good. This has worked for my iPad and iPhone, but no joy on the PC.

Yes that is where I have been trying. I can log in and log out. When I log in it brings up my address, but with Afghanistan as the Country and does not register my season pack purchase. I hit verify and it opens a new tab for purchasing it. It doesn't show in dollars either it wants £

I found a year old redit thread with a support email. I sent off a query and got a reply (not sure how much info I want to give if they ask) asking what problem I'm having.
My iphone and ipad are still functioning, I'm logged in on both and can watch replays of Q1, Q2 and Q3. Along with previous race replays. So if nothing is resolved for website by tonight it will not be a big deal.
My fingers are crossed they have enough bandwidth for tomorrow morning. I'm a bit worried. For me this started with the first Le Mans practice sessions. I fear either their setup is sort of broken or weak. Or worse they were hacked and still compromised.

So no joy on the PC. It will be ok so long as the iPhone and iPad stay connected. I only need one to cast, but I like to cast from the phone and use pad as second screen.
I plan on making it up for the start and the first 4 hours, then I have to go for awhile and pick it back up around hour 9 or 10. :)

Well I am able to cast warm up from phone and select different cars and timing on the pad.
It took a bit for it to start playing, but it has been solid since starting. So good news. If it works the same in just under 6 hours I will be happy.
Still no PC access though. Oh well.

So far so good for me. Steaming on the app through my tablet to the tv via hdmi. I have not tried the PC yet but the tablet has better picture quality, so its all good.
