Thoughts about the 03/28/2012 drive in....

Ok, i'm doing a diary of sorts for thoughts of what to do for my B-Day drive in. You might be thinking "WTFlip?" but hey, it's never too early to start thinking about a Drive in eh?

So here are my thoughts as of August 17th, 2011:

Digimon: The Movie (Tokyo with some car....)
How To Train Your Dragon (Nurburgring with something....)
Eragon (Le Mans with light, fast blue cars)
Age of the Dragons (Some european track with heavy, white cars)
Pokemon: The Movie 2000 (Ugh... as much as i hate Pokemon in general, Charizard was pretty damn cool... so it'd be orange cars at Tokyo!)

I was thinking about more movies i could pick and i came up with these:

1. Spyro: The movie (not sure of the car/track combo yet.... maybe fast purple cars at Spa)
2. Dragonheart (Burnt Orange Lancer X's at the Nurburgring)

Ok, i updated the list again and well, i'll do it yet again, this time with movie titles i made up in my head (you guys do "fantasy movies" too so i figured i would do so!):

Digimon 2012: The rise of GigaExveemon
Exveemon vs. Godzilla (or エクスブイモン vs. ゴジラ as it would be known in Japan)
Exveemon vs. MechaExveemon

(more to come at a later time and yes, I'm a big fan of Exveemon from the japanese anime Digimon!

Anyway, I know your is on the 28st of March... 

But which "Drive-In" will we celebrate it at?  March 24st or March 31th...   Just starting to think ahead a bit...   My teams in the Lab have plans in motion for up to March; but we are ready to start thinking about March and beyond...

Hmm... i'm also thinking about continuing the Godzilla trend, but i'm thinking that as the years (and subsequent Zilla BDays go by...) I'll have to pick the worst Godzilla movies that are out there.... like the *gulp* USA remake in '98 and Son of Godzilla from 1964. *shivers scaredly* That's why i was thinking of going in a different direction with my Drive In... i.e. the movies that are in the above posts in this thread, but oh well. There are still a crap load of Godzilla films that were awesome to pick from. (I'm surprised that i haven't picked Godzilla 2000 yet... and i have watched it on DVD over 40 times!) Ohhh.... this is so tough. Good thing time is on my side... for now.

Speaking of which, let's hold my Drive in on the 24th. Call it a time for early B Day presents and I plan to be there! (If i'm not too busy playing Skyrim by then....)

Ok, i was looking at the list of furry conventions (great fictional movie titles, right? lolz) and conviently there is a furry convention going on during the weekend of my B-Day drive in (March 23rd-March25th) but there also is a furry convention that i am taking deep interest in that is currently in the planning stages.... no it's not the one i'm planning, that's going to take effect when/if this SW Missouri convention fails.

Car choices would be unlimited and PP's would vary in some way... kinda like how a furry convention shows off a variety of anthros, this event would show off a wide variety of cars.... call it a preview of the sunday shuffle... sorta. lol

Hm.... i might need Charlie's permission to do this but as March gets closer.... hehe... i dont know how to make this sound clever. :P

Anyway, I was thinking of making the friday night movie have a similar theme to the saturday drive in... like a collaboration of sorts... unless Charlie wants to do his own thing on March 23th. That is fine too. :)
