Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

This is too much to pass up 11-11-11.  I'll be running a lounge this evening starting from around 8:30-9pm eastern.
Cars: ones with adjustable numbers so RM,TC and maybe Karts.
PP: 600 (except for Karts)
Tires: Racing Hard
Tracks: A variety but including spa and the new Kart track.
Hopefully some people can show up.

Thanks to everyone who showed up.  I had a great time.  We ran Spa first.  Hotstepper dominated there.  I almost had a chance on one race where we raced in the rain.  I chose intermediates which were as fast as the wets when the race started but not as safe.  I unfortunately had a spin that put me over 20s behind.  The rain stopped and the track started drying up and I started to make up time quickly.  I messed up trying to pass Rylvir at Blanchimont and even then still managed to get within 6s of Hotstepper.  We then moved to Karts and random generated tracks.  No practice, one race each.  Rylvir dominated there.  We ran one race with maximum course complexity.  I don't think I ever had so much fun almost coming last.  My final race was at Kart space I.  I led from the start and thought that I might have my first win until Rylvir passed me on the final corner.  Goos times!
