God job. Thank you.

ZeeZee Eye Eye

Zed zed? Aye, aye!

Notice how the proper way of pronouncing "Z" almost always sounds best with cars?
240 Zeeee ex? or 240 Zed Ex.
Zeeeeee kind of trails on.  It's like the alphabet doesn't want to end. It's kind of wishy washy.  Contrast that with Zed.  It's more authoritative.  It's clear that the alphabet ends. Don't you dare add another letter.  It's over.  That's it.

Now where'd that LSD go?

Did anyone notice that Owsley Stanley died about 10 days ago? Our LSD puns would fall very flat without people like him...

Is there no "People of a Certain Degree of Fame Who Have Recently Died" thread?

No. But we should have one.

I noted Owsley's passing in a post. Maybe on Vanilla.

Elizabeth Taylor passed as well. I lusted after her in my youth. Maybe not as hard as some of her European counterparts (think Sofia, Gina, Brigitte) but still...

Poor Liz. She tried so hard to find love in her later years. I don't imagine being young, and pretty, and ambitious in Hollywood made for much love in her youth.

Probably not. But that seems to be the price of fame, no?

Loveless or not, her marriage to Richard Burton provided for some of the finest acting I have ever seen. If anyone wants to know why she is a legend, go watch Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?... The pure passion and screaming and anger between the two of them on-screen is beyond any "acting" that I've seen. It's mind blowingly awesome.

It was noted back in plain vanilla. I.E. we did "give a hoot".
