Yeah, I hope it's in by Friday.

I think the only person not excited about it is my wife!  :nagnag

You're going to be very happy with it.  Before I bought mine, I had a DF GT and DF Pro hooked up to my coffee table up in the mancave.  If I was feeling good, I could race for about 30 minutes before I had to stand up and walk around.  Now I can easy go for hours.

A month ago, I ran back to back two hour stints without a break.  I actually find myself sitting in the Obutto more than my recliner.

Chris from Obutto (the owner) is really cool.  I contacted him about getting one back when he was having trouble with his TX distributor that was screwing folks over and inadvertently giving Chris and Obutto a bad name.  Chris had me an Obutto two days after we talked and I gave him my credit card info...

If only I was so efficient...

That was well over a year ago and it's still only half put together up in my mancave.  (I use it for magazine storage.  They're stacked all over it.  Yeah I have the whole deal - including the desk table addition, which BTW is kind of a waste...)

Now that we have G27 support I should probably get off my lazy ass and get it put together.  I use my Bob Earl for racing and my other PS3 (rocker chair w/DS3) for drifting.  But I am getting too fucking old to be climbing into and out of Bob's VRC.  (The only design flaw with the VRC is that it sits on the ground.  If it was 12 inches higher it wouldn't be such a chore getting in and out of it...  I should probably have built one myself -- but I am a software guy.  I'm not as comfortable working with hardware...)

My mancave is in a high state of disarray; if I ever get it cleaned I will snap some pics.  It really a cool FUCKING place - upstairs and only accessible thru a stairway from the master bedroom on the 1th floor.  It has a shelf around the top of the wall (crown molding dropped down and a shelf supporting it instead of the ceiling.)  It has all kinds of "collector" stuff displayed including my collection of skulls and nekkid ceramic women.

There are Coop posters (mostly devil girls) and other erotic artwork I've collected adoring the walls.

My lovely wife hates the place...

Maybe if someone came to visit, it would give me and excuse to clean the place up a bit.  Right now let's just say it's a bit cluttered...

Bet my lovely wife would say that's a FUCKING understatement...

Ah, yes, the Obutto....had one for a couple of years.. FatLeadFoot and I ordered ours at the same time....Yes, there was an expensive shipping cost, and yes, they weigh in around 100 lbs.  BUT......Listen to this:

I have never had a bad back or sore legs from sitting in this racing seat for over 8, 9, 10 hours at a time.   :o

For those who want to get a look, here ya go:

sore legs

This is my biggest problem with my setup right now.  My back isn't too bad but my legs hurt like hell after about an hour.

I can't wait to be comfy.  :)
