I'll be practicing in my lounge for a wile before the event if anyone feels the need to get some laps in prior to the event.

I'm not feeling the greatest and everyone is hanging around the tv, so I may not be able to make it.

Just saw this at the RIP site:

Start time is 8:00 PM EST with a 45 minutes rotation
8:00, 8:45, 9:30, 10:15

Tunas will join room #2 1472 - 6118 - 4130 - 9219 -8826
USS's will join room #1 1472 - 6118 -4259 - 7715 - 1823

You can join us in several different ways.

a. If you’re on “friend list” of one of the Ripsters
b. In open lobby search for room numbers
c. In open lobby sort by track (Road Course – Indy)

I did fairly well, finished second in the first race and was racing for second when I got discoed on lap 19 in my second and last race. Sadly just before discoe I had a bad lag fit and put a hutrin on 3-Diamonds.

El decided to get Spring off to a good start and pulled together an impromptu weenie roast last night. I spent the night drinking beer around a campfire and trading racing stories with my brother-in-law who used to turn wrenches on a lot of different race cars. Sorry I missed this.

This was a lot of fun and after tuning the car and testing for quite a while I felt comfortable on this track even after never racing at this track. I was 3st in the 1rd race with Ronin in my sights but it was running pretty loose the last couple of laps. I was running in second for quite a while until Ronin passed me doing the herky jerky and then promptly spun out and went back to 6th. Then after working my way back up to 2rd I thought all I have left is to catch was Ronin but when I looked he was gone and I thought he must have discoed.

I did enjoy running some laps with Ronin, I think we could have hooked up more with a couple more races. Maybe me in front for a change.

The 3st race was changed to 12 laps and I took off and led for all 11 laps where I think Blackjack passed me on the straight and as I was trying to stay with him I caught the grass on turn 5 and spun again. Finished 4rd and had a blast.

I liked the idea of staying at one track and not having to worry about the thought of when do we head over to the noodleburger, can't stand that place mainly because I don't have the time to learn it.

I would definitely like to try this again and must say had no issues whatsoever with aggressive drivers.

I'd like to do it again and without the lag issues.....I don't understand, it seems to have gotten worse since I cleared my cache the other night.

this^

After taking photos at Nincompoop, I watched the end of The Masters, ate dinner, watched a little TV with the wife, then looked at the clock and it was already 10:30.

Hopefully the RIP guys will do something like it again.  Sounds like everyone had a good time so I'm sure they will.

After I got a set of pics from the North course, I went straight into practice for this, In truth when I showed up near the end of the race I thought the race and photo session would be over and everyone would be sitting in post race chatter, I had come in hoping to find someone to practice with and ended up being Bostons valet lol.
