I've never been a big fan of the PVC rigs, but this is looking very nice. I know I will be in the market for a new rig in the future, as my playseat is not holding up very well. I was looking at other setups and I was shocked at the prices. When you finish and get a parts list together please post it up.  8)

And good write-up in a PDF file would be the way to go.

Did I miss how you created the curves? Do you use heat?

Three frickin' grand. Thank but I will take my cockpit and spend the other 2840 on the electronics. I see that it comes with a wheel and pedals but for that kind of cash I would want something a bit higher line than a G27. Not meant as a knock I still have mine its a good wheel. But 3k is big money I think.

Yes they actually make industial grade heating "blankets" to assist with the bending.
But before I did that I tested the idea with a heat gun. Have seen guys installing plumbing for pools use a torch.

Much cheaper that most consoles with built+in butt shakers.  They are usually in the $5-10K range.

I was thinking if I sold my other two consoles it might be somewhat  affordable.

Oh well, saw it and thought I'd share it with the Tuna Croon...

"Telescoping steering wheel"

I didn't know the G27 did this.

I kind of don't need a truck for storage and 4 brake lights.  :laugh

These guys get a lot of good press over on the iRacing forum.  You can go as low as just buying their software to drive a buttkicker, or as high as this motion cockpit:

That's awesome baked! Great job. Have you ever raced on a big screen from further away? I wonder how different the game feels being that close to a screen.

Imagine same rig no tv or mounting system. And I would pull it up in front of main tv in living room it was a 42 inch current tv is 26 incher. I run the in car cam and this set up gives a more proper perspective. Hope tht was understandable and close to what you were asking for.
