It's in and mostly done. The only issue is there is something wrong with the seat back. Something is either loose or broken, so it makes a hideous creaking noise

So today I ordered a custom cut aluminum plate from the above for a better universal seat base platform.

Y'all are the most intelligent gt minded guys around so hopefully someone will have good news.  The fact that you need 3 ps3s to run a multi monitor setup is insane. Please tell me there is a way to hack it and use 1 ps3 to run 3 screens.  Anyone?

No other way that I know of. Good news might be, PS4 + Sony VR support for GT(whatever).

Even if you could hack it, you would end up watching a slide show.  A single PS3 just doesn't have the power to drive three screens.

Ooh, good question. I'm planning on one of those soon... and my 2 bonus TV opportunity hasn't quite evaporated yet...

VR. No way.

Cool, but you still effectively end up with a single 1080p output (upscaled) and despite what he says you do get extra lag.  I think that you can even see it in his video.

The PS4 most likely won't do triple screens on a single PS4 either.  The problem with consoles is that you have a set performance limit and developers are going to try to maximize performance on a single display leaving little room for 3 displays.  Also, the PS4 only has one hdmi output which makes it hard (not impossible) to attach multiple monitors.

VR with racing sims has the potential to be incredible.  It is already pretty cool with the DK2.  I'd probably buy a PS4 just for morpheus.

Yep, I concur. I didn't believe it would work very well either, yet it is possible.

his display setup essentially was a 9:16 ratio similar to what we would do on a single screen usually.  I doubt that the ps3 would be ble to send a signal for a display ratio similar to what you'd do with three screens.  If so, it would be stretched and look horrible...
