Hey Charlie, Agent has a long history of that -- he stayed in the back keeping me company at many Driversports events.  If he's there, he wants to be, so don't be anxious!  I owe him some of my best races as well.  I had hoped to catch up to y'all, but kept dropping tires and spinning every time I got ya on the horizon.  Glad I stayed in anyway, sorry to run out of gas just when you guys had finally loitered enough for me to catch up.

Wish I'd contributed more to the team, Agent, thanks for running with me!+

Charlie - Thanks for the words.  I was worried that I did something wrong again, but I couldnt figure how and planned to watch my replay. I'm glad you cleared that up for me ... additional issues I really dont need. I did enjoy the racing, but i was where I belonged at the back what with no practice and my purposeful attempts at staying out of troubles.  Since I did have such an impact on your wonderful race  ;), well, maybe there is a ray of hope and fun for me yet.  ^-^  Glad I could contribute!  8)

no_affil - Thanks for partnering up with me in this series.  :-* I really had a dismal showing throughout and unfortunately some of the ghosts at Nurb are going to follow me around spreading chaos in my path. Not much i can do about it now .... inserting more practice time would be key in the future, but I need to find the fun again first.  I'm glad you mentioned DriverSports ..... there are quite a few memorable events and i do recall all the great racing we had. Some of the very best of times happened at the back of the field.  I had alot of laughs with you guys in the few months I was there. Very good times, indeed ....  :D

LLF - Thanks for a great series, and I appreciate all the hard work you put into it.  What with all the points juggling and substitutes to contend with, I know you put alot of work in behind the scenes. Very, very, very good job!  :)

Agent, with my driving, you can believe I get frustrated from time to time.  I have largely given up practice, unless I have time to kill, it's one of the reasons I usually stick to shorter racing - it's just not as bad blowing a 5 lapper as spinning on lap 3 and dooming oneself to an hour of time trialing.  Anyway, we're all ultimately here to have fun, so make certain not to lose that!  If there's anything to be done to up the fun quotient, let me know, 'cause it's great to have you out here, and no one wants it to be a chore.

I did it again guys. I forgot the final results from wednesday at home and I'm going on vacation tomorrow morning. I would really like to post the final standings but can't remember the final.

I remember this much and even that is probably wrong. Any input would help.

The top 3 are right, that's about all I remember though :(.  If no one else can clarify any other spots by the time I turn on the console this evening I'll check the replay and see if I can get the final results from there :).

I finished 5th, not 7th, but not sure about behind me.

Also, SUPER EXCELLENT MUCHO FUN SERIES!  Can't thank you enough for all the work involved in making this happen, keeping some kind of points system in place, and generally getting us together on a weekly basis.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, without this community I think I'd of put away GT5 a long time ago.  You guys are my only PS3 online family, and I lubs you all!

Updated the OP with Final Team and Individual Standings.

Sorry about the delay everyone but the holiday came up really fast on me after the last race. No excuses and I should have made sure that I had the final standings right after race 8.

I would like to thank everyone for a truly fun event and it's just confirmation that you guys are the best.

I must say that I'm not sure I would do the same type again (at least with subs), that just got really complicated and I'm still not sure if it's correct.

Let me know if there are any discrepancies.

Congratulations to:  Team WolfPack with the Gold Trophy with 49 points
Team OldGuys with the Silver Trophy with 50 points
Team Dolts with the Bronze Trophy with 72 Points

Also congrats to Grumpy for the outstanding Individual result.

Thanks again everyone and see you soon.

Congrasts winners and runner-ups!

Thanks LLF for running the whole event and especially figuring out the points at the end with all the substitional confusion thrown in :), it was definitely a fun series!

Thanks for the series Leaf and great racing everyone.

I'm pretty sure, though, that you only deducted 20 points for my 2 throw-aways, where it should have been 25 26, which moves me up 3 spots in individual standings! Doesn't affect any team points though, and that old guy still beat me.
