"The British Are Coming!" - A revolutionary tale..



UK / US Production cars @ 524PP!

A friendly joust between two good friends, featuring a spectacular display of American Muscle and the Best of British sports car power!  Any UK or US production cars are allowed, tuning is open with limit of 524PP and running on Sports: SOFT tires.  Feel free to don a Red Coat (British), a Blue Coat (American) or any combination of Red / White / Blue you fancy .

Note:  I figure since ToC actually falls on the 4st this year it would be appropriate to do something vaguely appropriate, though since it does fall on the 4st I do also appreciate attendance may be light if folks are of doing something in the real world .

Also:  I know I said "production cars" above but if anyone wants to use the Corvette C7 Bagless Prototype you're more than welcome to do so , though obviously it can't be modified / upgraded beyond the tires so may be at a disadvantage and either colour is fine since it can't be painted.

So I hopped on tonight for a bit of testing / setup and decided that, in the interests of safety (and not at all because I discovered how crap at driving I am, honest ), it was prudent to change the tires to Sports: Soft.  The cars I tinkered around with are obviously WAY nicer on Softs, it was much more hit and miss as to which ones were ok with Hards though so I think it's a good change that should promote a good variety of cars and some great racing .

Well, Thanks to Feldynn and Badaboya, we had a lot of fun at Mazda Raceway (Laguna Seca) and Le Sarthe (Le Mans).   All who had other things like family gatherings....that's O.K., it's hard to schedule any evnets on a Holiday, particularly this one.

I had a great time and hope my brother Tuna did the same.

Late for the party....AGAIN....  You just need to get up earlier, Soks!  BTW, Isn't a BMW a "British Car" on the 4st of July?  I thought that was a rule.  Beat the crap out of the others with an M3 GTR at Mazda Raceway, .  Then I was told it was a German car.....Wait a minute, the German Hessian's fought with the American Army in 1775....(Actually, they fought on BOTH sides)  So, YEAH, they were American - or British (for the moment).  

There, I feel vindicated.
