Oooh this could get me to turn on my wheel!  Looks really good.

If this has all the tracks on the DTM schedule, this will be an automatic buy for me.  I love me some DTM.

Have you heard if all the tracks will be available?

I can't find much info on this.  It's on the official dtm site.  The guy who posted it on iRacing thought it was Simbin.  Someone else said it wasn't.  The video has a Race-star logo.  Hopefully we'll find out more tomorrow.  Racing DTM cars at Zandvoort would be a blast.

I can't find much info on this.

Boy you ain't kidding.  Did a massive Google search after I read this read and I couldn't find shit.  Hopefully more info trickles out after the demo drops.

Meh

Due to no online I assume?

No, I just had problems setting it up.  ffb was really wierd.  I had to switch it to reverse ffb.  I never even heard of that before.  Steering was off.  The car wouldn't brake.  Have you tried it?

Ah, I assumed the "meh" was based on the article I posted.  I already forgot the demo dropped today.

Also, I think the reverse FFB is fairly common in Simbin games.  I know I had to turn it on in GTR2.

I'm not surprised you're having troubles, I had major wheel/pedal issues when Raceroom Racing Experience (another Simbin title) first dropped.  Hopefully it'll get straightened out soon.

I haven't tried it yet but hope to soon.

I tried to give it another go.  Made a few changes to the steering sensitivity.  Didn't help.  There is no proper triple screen support so the side monitors are warped.  I can't stand warped side monitors.  It almost makes them useless.  In this day and age, why can't more games get triple screen support right?  I'm giving up on it.  Too bad, I'd really like a good DTM game.

Looks like the full game will be released this Thursday.

I'll probably buy it but holy shit that'll be 4 new racing games for me in less than 2 weeks.  ^-^

Did you like the demo?  I heard that there was a second demo with AI.  I'd love to have a DTM game but I just didn't like the first demo.

I downloaded the second demo.  They now have AI cars on the track with you (and it is a different track).  Controls worked better this time but I had learned a trick from GSC.  I switched the wheel to 540 mode and the steering lock on the car to 22.  They haven't fixed triple screens yet and even though they are not doing separate renders per screen, performance is horrible.  It is almost a slideshow at times with default settings.  I'll skip this for now.  I don't have the time to play the sims that I already have.
