If my wife has her way .... I wont have it till Dec 25th.  She claims I'm hard to buy for, so she grabs up anything purchased after thanksgiving.  I dont agree ... I buy  stuff I like all the time and theres nothing hard about it at all.  :laugh :laugh ^-^ ^-^

I think my wife is set on using this as a Christmas present, as we're both hard to buy for. I'm not sure when she'll give it to me, but I doubt she'll try to make me wait. I think she knows I'm leaving it to her.
I really look forward to a new game...new cars, tracks, physics, and upgrading options.

Same here.  Pre-ordered the other day when the website went live with all the new game details, and my Friday Dec. 6th will be spent at work probably just refreshing forum page after forum page reading about everyone else's experiences  :-X

And I may have to avoid all the forums. I don't know which would be easier. Ready what every one things know that I can't plat it until probably around 9pm that night. (Work + game pickup + food + long drive across 3 cities in rushour to reach Gamestop + day one download = late night start)  :(  Or just wait all day, not knowing anything and experiencing it all myself.  :-\

Well, option 1 sounds better to me because you could learn of some pitfals that people are finding and maybe avoid them.  Like install problems, or not understanding some weird thing that PD will inevitably do with the game.

Me, I'll go with #1 just because I can't control myself :D

also, I am lucky enough to live less than 10 min from work, and a Gamestop not out of the way by more than a couple blocks :D :D
