Spec Miata!
Tonight we race Miatas and MX-5s, older model ones from '93 to '97, with a fixed set of parts and upgrades to make for some awesome close racing!

Official Running Time: 8-11:00pm EDT

Driving Aids Allowed:  Traction Control, ABS (driving line currently off due to bug)
Car Setup: limited parts (see below)
Tires:  Sports Hard
Tire / Fuel usage:  Fast
Grid:  Reverse grid based on previous results
Start Times:  Auto clock set to 5 mins
Lap Count: 4 (more if too short)

Racing Suspension: SOFT
Twin Plate Clutch
Racing Exhaust
Exhaust Manifold
Sports Catalytic Converter
Intake upgrade

Oil change
GT Auto front aero
GT Auto rear wing (any kind)

Reduce Power to about 96%-98% or so to make 395PP

NOTES:  I didn't list the '89 and '91 Miatas / MX-5s above because they need additional parts to be properly balanced, if anyone wants to run them they are welcome to do so using the same spec as above then add the Sports Computer and knock the power down to 395PP and also the custom LSD.  The LSD MUST be set the LSD to Initial 5, Accel. 18, Brake 8 as this is the closest setting to the stock LSD on the other cars (stock is 3/18/8).

As with last week I'll try to get on fairly early to start the room, but if anyone wants to kick it off please don't wait for me.. get the goos times rolling .

But seriously I totally didn't of that at the time haha, was just thinking Miatas and spec racing and there it was .  Also track wise I'm thinking one of the Brands Hatch layouts, probably the longer one and maybe get some time change going on if no one objects.

Main post updated, slight increase to 395PP (I forgot oil changes, doh!) and also there are special provisions for the '89 and '91 models.  They're not directly listed in the main text but they ARE allowed so long as you're willing to buy some extra parts (ECU and LSD, LSD set to 5/18/8).

Oh also for anyone that wasn't aware, when you buy any of the cars for this week's ToC they come with plain paint but when you take them to GT Auto and repaint them you get a stripe to appear.  This GT Planet thread has a number of pictures of the repainted cars with stripes so you can get an idea of which cars get what design .

So long as you've got me (or whoever is hosting) on your friends list, just hit the Online button and the "Friends" checkbox to show only rooms with friends in them.  I want to say you are on my friend list if you're still using SpecMiata I think it was?
