Is it too late to enter this?
I know some people were limited on car choice. Could get somebody to do a random draw if that works, or could do it myself.

I see you already have two of each car so, maybe you just want to leave it that way.

Bada you can join.  If you haven't done any testing randomly pick a car please.

BTW my mic hasn't been working properly but mics are fine for the race.

I have driven all of these in the past but not at these specs.
By random draw I have chosen the Dino.
Scary.

Thanks for letting me sneak in at the last minute!!

Sorry, this is what I get for trying to do two events on one date.

For some reason, I was thinking it was held on Fridays.

Thanks Wolf, fun racing, especially the first half with Feldynn.
Should tighten up next week with the added weight.

Great racing for that first half Pete, lots of back and forth passing, neither one of us could shake the other until I went into the pits probably too early haha.

Also thanks Dawson / wolf for running it, looking forward to the next one :).

Unfortunately I had to hand down a penalty after the last race.  The Alpine Numbskuld used for race #1 wasn't legal for the series and had a more aggressive gearbox allowing better performance.  I'm 100% certain this was unintentional on Numb's part but I'm just trying to be fair to everyone.  30 seconds added to total race time is the penalty, which drops Numbskuld to 4th and lifts badaboya1 and peyepete to 2nd and 3rd.  That means that badaboya1 now has 50 kg ballast instead of 25, and that peyepete now has 25 kg ballast.

Announcing the 2014 Classic European Sports Car Tour of...Europe.  Harking back to a time when vehicle safety features were optional and sports cars weighing over 2,000lbs were considered heavy, the Wolfpack International Motorsports Pact (or WIMP, for short) brings you a competition amongst some classic sports cars that, in some instances, have been overshadowed by other contemporary greats.  During this 2 month affair we will visit many of the western European countries that spawned such fine vehicles…and swing through Spain as well.  In order to get a full experience of how these old machines handle modifications will be severely limited and only permitted in the interest of parity.  So let’s get started…

The vehicles
’72 Alpine A110 1600S - 715 kg, 144 hp
’72 Lotus Europa Special – 730 kg, 132 hp
’65 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 – 745 kg, 163 hp
’71 Dino 246 GT – 1080 kg, 140 hp (referring to this car as a Ferrari is technically incorrect)
’73 BMW 2002 Turbo – 1080 kg, 176 hp

Hi dawson,

I do not believe I should receive any penalty as I have chosen the legal / correct / specified car (1972 Alpine) as specified in you spec list.  Please check the replay.

Edit:  Added screenshot of the "Replay Details" to show the correct car used in the event.
