Had a good time last night. Room stayed about half full with probably somewhere between 15 and 20 racers coming and going. Car was prone to understeer if just a touch too late on the brakes entering turns. As well as quick to oversteer if to free with the throttle coming out of turns made for some interesting tip toeing for everyone. Thanks to all who shared the track and to Dude for putting it together.

A very pretty old girl that was a bear to tame. (For me)
Not used to comfort tires. Sliding ensued.
Fun for the few races I was able to attend.

I'm pretty horrible these days especially with a controller but it was fun to get out.  For some reason the volume on the communications was low so I couldn't hear anyone clearly.

This weekend's Doltfest thunk up by Baked, who did not pass Issue 3. (no doubt it was written with some added shit that should not have been in there) Better luck next time on the legal weed.

As for this weekend 11/07/15

Dolts and dashes an open garage night on sports meds. with the first non podium finisher (4rd place) getting to call out either the points level or the track for the next race with the second non podium finisher (5st place) getting to pick the remaining of the two choices. All races would be eight to ten minute timed races

Hope to see you there.  8)

I would like to revisit this past weeks dolt race another time. I got into cars I had never driven. There was no prep needed it was just whatever was in the garage close to the points we were running at the moment. Dude this could be hosted in the common lobby in public since the only regulations are points and tires no one can circumvent the regs for the night, like when people show up and we are running a specific car or something. And maybe we would not have the same issues with people being able to see each other, we may but who knows until we try.

PS the spec tire could change to give a lean towards higher or lower performance although I did like the tire last night was right in the middle of the performance spectrum. At races with lower points you could really push the car while the races with higher points required the driver to be more vigilant.

Goos times hoping next week 'soks and I can see and hear each other. Once the whole room could see each other it was fub.

Will be running Saturday night at LaSarthe in a slight recall of times gone by. It will be a limited run of the Saturday Night Drive In. The Film playing will be Miracle on 34th Street Mulsanne Straight. The car needs to be something for a possibly insane man claiming to be Santa so we will be in the newest version of the Audi S6 Avant maxed out to a whopping 1057 HP on racing tires, as light as you can get it. Plan on ten to twelve minute races.

Hopefully a few people will make it out despite the late timing of this announcement.
