Sucks not having a computer at home.

What is the barrier to get back up and running at home?  Is it just getting a computer?  Or is it getting Illustrator on said computer?

In other words, if you could get a computer for dirt cheap (or even free) do you still have to pay for Illustrator?  Or is that something you can get through your job for cheap/free?

I've been hearing really good things about Affinity Desinger as a replacement for illustrator on one of the game design forums I visit: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/designer/
It is pretty cheap and a one time fee (not subscription).

Inkscape is capable and free but not the most intuitive software. I use Inkscape for my logos.

This car started out as a replica, but then I started putting my own spin on it.

Source image...

And what it turned into...

A Tuna, Gran Turismo, and GT Planet tribute.

Here's another car that is painted a "Special " color, chrome in the case, and masked over.

I almost didn't put any sponsors on it, the paint scheme looks so good.

This one I was messing around more with angle and depth, just to get some practice with it.

The drop shadow on everything disappears, depending on the angle looking at it.

A little rally. The render didn't have many sponsors, I mat go back and fill it in more.

A requested job.

Probably one of the cleanest logos I've re-drawn and uploaded.

Started on this one, should finish it tonight.

I'll work on that when I can, Wiz.

Got to swap out the Delaware decal on the door for this car, but otherwise it's pretty complete.

I've been thinking of doing track specific pace cars, and after running across a Grand Valley decal somebody uploaded, figured I'd make that my first one.

Wiz, I have the stuff drawn up for the Audi, will probably do it this weekend.

I think this is my favorite pace car so far. Really like the way it turned out.

Anybody that has looked around the infield of BMB, I'm sure has noticed the park in there, so this one is based off that.

Should've worked on this car when I had the decals ready, somebody beat me to it on GTP.

Worked the Alsace pace car, and wound up doing two versions after not being thrilled with the first...

Version 1

Version 2...

I wish you could paint the wheels individually, I would've like to have done this...

Thanks Wiz.

Here's a shout out to a long time favorite.

Started on this one, and kinda making it up as I go.
