Was working on this one, and before I knew it, I had maxed out the layers, and wasn't even close to being finished. Re-worked a bunch of stuff, and was able to get it as finished as possible, still at the 300 body layer limit.

Thanks guys. It's like drawing, which I've done for as long as I can remember, but these are three dimensional, and I get to drive them.  :)

Been working on this car for a while, and finally finished it up, along with two more color variations.

Changed the regular red to Chrome red, but forgot to grab shots of it.

Hey Chrome how do you get your colors to match so perfectly?  Every time I try to match a color on a livery, once I get it in game (in Assetto, not GTS, but that shouldn't matter) it always looks off.

For example, what RGB or HSV codes would you use for a C7R?

Ideally I find a color list for a logo, but I usually eyeball it. Keep in mind part of my job is to QC product for color correctness.

For the Corvette, I'd start with HSV 14/100/100, and go from there. 14 will add a hint of orange to the yellow. In GTS 15/100/100 is almost high lighter yellow. 13 would be a lot of orange.

Ok so I think I'm doing something wrong then because when I put HSV 14,100,100 into paint.net I get this...

Which is obviously way too orange.  Any ideas what I'm missing/doing wrong?

I think it might be a GT thing. If I google HSV 14/100/100, i get some images that look more like what you're getting, than what shows up in GT.

When I'm re-creating logos on the computer(Illustrator CC) I usually have it's color mode in CMYK, and use Pantone Color Bridge to get my colors. That "book" of colors provides the best match when digital printing, and has worked well for the livery editor too. If I'm doing a multi-color logo with black in it, I make the black 100/100/100/100, CMYK, for the deepest black possible.

That probably doesn't help you any, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Spotted this car a few weeks back, but took me a couple tries on the upload, to get the green part on the bottom in game, and keep the gradients in it right.

I don't do fake vents a lot, but the front of this car, takes it well, I think.
