There's a line of severe weather making it's way toward the Southeast today. It is scheduled to move through our area this evening and tonight. The Weather Channel is urging me to review our Disaster Plan.

The thunderstorms that slammed us Monday night (yes, the weatherpeople got it right) opened up with a round of hail. The deck lid on the Honda got peppered pretty badly and I'm calling the insurance company today.

I even pulled it up under the trees trying to get it sheltered just in case we had hail. Still got hit.

Torrential rain since midnight last night. It's like when a hurricane or tropical storm moves through. It pours, and then it lets up and almost quits, and you think, "Oh, good. It's over." And then another rain band moves through heavier than before with high winds. Yuck!
