i must say, we here in Toronto have had a sort of strange year, with summer in March, weird storms, and a mix of near perfect T-shirt weather, lately, however we are getting short on rain. The grass is getting pretty brown, now.

I spent a couple hundred bucks making a balcony planter set and hardly any of the flower seeds germinated and I don't know why. That sucks.

Man, it's dry!

I just read about a small town, about 100 miles away, that has a big river going through it and it's flow is down by 70%, so the residents have been under water rationing since April.

I live in Brampton and we got a bit last night but it was probable the 1rd drop we've had in a month. I know last weekend when they got 88mm in Scarborough we got not a single drop. Strange summer.

I know I haven't cut the grass in a month. Today's another hot one though, the heat is supposed to break tonight.

I'm leaving upstate NY tonight to head back home.

The weather here for the past 2 weeks has been fantastic.  High 80's with the occasional thunder storm (3 of them) to cool the nights off.

I know Portland has been cooking in the 90's wile we were away, I hope that is gone by the time we get home.

I saw a report on the news last night that the mighty Mississippi River is down by nearly 20%.  Barges are having trouble navigating it now.  Its dry all over the place.

Here's hoping you all get some relief from the heat!

 Rain and forecast for the next several days! The bad thing though is the State Fair! The other thing is that my wife buys ticket for just about every day of the Fair!
