Winter is on the way! Have snow on the mountains for the past couple weeks! Temp is in the high 30's at night, not long before the white stuff is down here! :'(

Rained for the last 4 days and 4 nights ( :huh. That's like one tenth of the "Great Flood" chillin...)

Speaking of chillin' the rain has brought a cold from - no more triple digits, we're in the 90s for a change.

We may have had maybe 3 days of rain since early July.  It's been an incredible summer.  We are still supposed to get mostly sunny weather well into October.  Not sure it makes up for 6-7 months of constant rain.

We haven't had a drop of rain out here since early July.

The ground is as hard as concrete.  My wife bought several plants for an outside border and, I shit you not, it took me 20-25 minutes to dig each hole.  Dry, dry, dry.
