After mowing my lawn just 2 weeks ago, we have finally begun winter (maybe).  Cold front has moved in the past few days bringing the evening temps down to 28-32F. 

FUCK YOU LAWN!!!  I'LL SEE YOU IN 4 MONTHS.

We're having "stable" weather in Austin.

Rain and colder on Fridays and Saturdays.  Cold a hell on Sundays and Mondays.  70s and 80s on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Cold front/freeze on Thursdays.

Rinse and repeat.

It did this for almost all of November and they are saying it should continue the cycle through March 2014.

To paraphrase the "glimmer twins":

"And it's sure gonna be a cold, cold winter;
And the wind ain't been blowing from the south..."


Here's hoping for a long, hot summer...  But springtime's taking the long way around...

On and off freezing rain/rain for the last 2 days. Supposed to go well into tomorrow. power has been out for about two hours. (Our modem/router supposedly has 4 hour backup) going to be an interesting weekend.

 Instead of freezing rain we got around 8 inches of snow! Then about half way through the driveway the snowblower broke on me. Shoveling sucks!!!!!!! >:(

It topped 86F today .... might have a cold front coming through tomorrow night.  Will drop Xmas day into the  mid-70's.   ;)
