coming soon

You guys need that rain so badly, but not all at one time.  I hope you are out of flash flood areas!

Sunny and 56 yesterday.  40 and raining like mad today.  In fact, that's the forecast for the week.

Don't want to rub it in or anything but it's been 80 degrees all weekend and it's supposed to be like that all week.

The good news is that we have had a fair bit of sun during the days over this winter (lately, winters have been gray from November through to about April). However, that comes with a price attached.

"Wind Chill Warning

Wind chills in the minus 30s overnight and Monday morning."

The cross-polar shift from Siberia is making things pretty cold.

Apparently the spring is supposed to be colder than normal across Canada except for BC.

We didn't get that much snow overnight.  I miss proper snow.  It will be interesting to see if they closed the roof on BC Place.  We may have the worlds first indoor outdoor hockey game.  Lots of drama over the Canucks these days.  Kesler is apparently on the trading block.  It looks like Luongo is the backup goalie again.  I think the Canucks need to do the right thing and either buy him out or trade him.  I thought this picture in the local paper was pretty funny:

It rained all day washing away the little snow we had.  I watched the game on TV.  They had the roof up on the stadium and had laid down artificial snow around the outside the rink.  Pretty sad.

That was a very odd atmosphere.  It didn't feel like an outdoor game and it didn't feel like an indoor game.  I still say they needed to open that roof and play in whatever elements God throws at them.  Did you watch the Chicago game in blizzard conditions?     That was a great game to watch!

The whole game wasn't a great idea. An outdoor game in a city where it rains most of the winter.  Ottawa/Vancouver is hardly a rivalry.  In fact Ottawa is the only other Canadian team that I like.  The game was way overpriced to begin with.  Apparently they had to give away tons of tickets and the place still wasn't full.

The Chicago game was cool.  That's what an outdoor game should be like.

Really wish I hadn't mentioned how nice the weather was here over the weekend as it is now every bit of 20 degrees outside with a pretty strong North wind.

Pretty sure I'm being punished for saying something the other day.  Next time I'll just keep my mouth shut!  :-X lol

According to weather.com it felt like 18 degrees when I woke up at 6 this morning but then it got up to a massive 37 degrees today with a feel like temp of about 30.

it's supposed to be the same tomorrow but with rain all day!  Sometimes I hate working outside!!

But yeah, -17 is pretty fucking cold!  Too cold in fact.  Where do you live at?
