So far, unusually, we have had a decent summer here. Maybe a few more tornadoes than normal. Unlike the Miamians who will literally be living in a Florida swamp. A 5" rise in sea level sucks.

After 2 days of heavy t storms the weather has cleared. Much better for camping.  :D

Aside from a few local wet spots, this is the first reasonable "summer" that we've had in a long time.

Some people have gotten wet, but Toronto has been good.
It hasn't been boiling hot and humid for long stretches, either.

Pleasant fits well, here.

I've been pretty happy with the weather this summer in NC.  May/June started out hot with a lot of days in the 90s, along with dry weather.  But ever since July came through it's been (relatively speaking) mild.  Mostly 80s instead of 90s and 100s and lots of rain.

That storm that came through NC last night was crazy.  My area got 3 inches of rain between 7-10pm and there were a lot of flash floods (nothing to affect me thankfully).  :o

Early is right!  We had our first, and hopefully last, ice and wind storm the last 2 days.

All I can do is roll my eyes at Portlanders abilities in this weather.

Good luck with the job hunting, GT11!

Depending on where the job is, if it is downtown, you can leave home and not even were a winter coat, if you can stay in the underground tunnels - from your condo door to the job's front door.  :angel:

Thanks.  The job is actually up in Kingston.  It's my dream job but I don't stand much of a chance.  However, I do know some people that work there and one of my references who thinks I'm a superstar has some pull there so we'll see.
