Did the new time and drift trials replace the ones there just there the other day, or are there 2 of each now?

The previous Time / Drift trials are still open, until Sept 12st I think.

However the new Madrid time trial is already full of fail, the current leader maintains a good amount of speed through the 2nd point of the triangle (just before that corner with the high inside curb you can flip the car with) by bouncing off the right wall before the left turn, not a glancing or accidental blow either it's definitely a deliberate action on the part of the driver (he steers into the wall).

From some fairly poor (yet valid)  laps on my part I've noticed that the invalid time boundries on this track are extremely weak, you can slam into the walls left and right and still have a valid time (though it may not always be an advantage).

Yes, you used the Open Garage button to select more cars.

I'm sure it will make all of you who finished the Top Gear Mercedes challenge happy to have your clean times wiped out because of others cheating, but apparently, that's what will happen on September 22. Penalty areas are supposed to be readjusted, too.

You would think that they would learn from their mistakes but they mess up time and time again.  I don't get it.  Notice that you need comfort softs to get realistic times on the track.

I'd still like to see a video of Coulthard's fastest lap around the track, the only one I ever saw him do from that event was from a standing start but even that showed him turning through areas we could not due to us having Cones of Disqualification.

I have some doubts that his fastest lap is really all that comparable to ours (or specifically those at the live event) because of differences in the actual track layout, mostly because we have cones all over and get DQ'd for driving lines that can and are driven on the actual track itself.

I don't think anyone gets it. This has been going on for many contests.

Since I plan on asking PD about this, can someone remind me of the main details of what was wrong with the Logitech Wheel contest, from the Prologue years? At least I think it was Prologue... but the message database at the PSN is gone.
