Did anybody else have problems using that Code for a Free Stealth GT-R?

I wanted to use it on my gt5 account I race with, GTP_Rylvir..  after a few tries it just wouldn't take.. bad code or whatever it said...

so I jumped on my non GT5 ID, and was able to use the code.. jumped back on GTP_Rylvir..
No Stealth GT-R in the garage :(

Was anybody able to use the code for more than 1 account?

side note.. I never logged in to GT5 on main account after redeeming code.. perhaps I need to do that to activate it - ?!

Same for me, I entered the code with my main account and it went through fine then switched to me other account and upon loading the game got the "received car" message as expected.  So far as I know the code should be valid until January 2012, sounds silly but did you double the code?  I know I've got numbers / letters mixed up before, usually 8's with B's and such :).

If you have the pre-order bonus GT-R, you don't get the free one.

I'm not sure if that was intended :(

note: I do have a Stealth GT-R from Pre-Order.. that is the only thing I can think of.. fuck, and that was the week my crystal ball was out for repair

That's probably why it won't show now, you already have it.

As I've said over on the PSN forums I'm a little confused about the thought behind the recent free gifts, I don't mind that they're giving away the Stealth cars now just the way they're going about it seems a little illconceived.  The trouble is where they're giving away a specific car it puts some people in the position we're seeing whereby they can't download this new free gift because they already have it, I don't think it's fair that people should be excluded from obtaining a free GT Academy celebratory gift (the Stealth GT-R GT500) or the upcoming DLC delay compensation gift (the Stealth NSX GT500) just because they chose to preorder from a certain location over a year ago.

To avoid screwing people out of free gifts but still use Stealth cars why couldn't they have just put out a generic one-use gift code that would allow us to choose which one Stealth car we wanted, that way the people who have the Stealth GT-R could have chosen say the McLaren F1 Stealth (the one I have from my Gamestop preorder) or the SLS AMG Stealth or whatever other one they preferred.

Speaking of the GT Academy gift itself I think it was very much a missed opportunity, they could have given the NA region a neat little unique gift but instead just dredged up some old content that some people already have.  Even if they reissued the GT-R Academy Special which I think was a Europe region only Academy gift, that would have been good.  They could have gone as far as producing new custom skins for the Nissan 370z and GT-R to replicate those used in the actual show, that would've been really cool.  IMHO an opportunity missed.

But as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm really not visualizing these equine bestowments via their verbilization apertures, heck I'm glad they actually can and are still throwing us free gifts, updates and wotnot, I just wonder sometimes about the thought processess behind some of them :).

Many batches.. soon? :)

While that's good to hear, a piece from the article is even more intriguing.25 track logos

something almost as interesting (but pricey)...  Check out the D-BOX "actuators" -- better than a ButtShaker.

Yeah, but you need D-Box drivers built into the game, to get the advantages.

The latest 'batch of new content' cost $12 as a package deal. Four more of these batches doubles the cost of the game. I wonder if I can trade head tracking and 3-D for some DLC.

Yup, that's one of the downsides to having DLC.

Plus, if they have 20 to thirty of the missing tracks to still hand out, what will the final bill be?

Oh, and another thing is time. The longer PD takes to release all of what they plan on giving selling to us, the less time we'll have to use it before GT6 Prologue is out. That would be annoying.
