mygt.net (where we keep our garages) has an interesting article that explains why hp varies from car to car over time. Also it points out that if you do an engine overhaul there is no need to change the oil as an oil change is included. I did not know this. Also, also... engine overhauls don't produce much benefit until the car has over 5000km. Closer to 15000km would be a better time to do one. I did not know this either.

also, also, also... there is an April Fools bogus article about a major update coming for GT5. I repeat, it is bogus. No joke. I'm serious. Bogus report.

I am really getting sick and tired of Sony (SNEA)...

Now they have limited the number of USB devices you can hook to your system.  USB topology allows for 255 commections.   Yesterday evening, after the update was available but before I updated, I started getting errors saying I had reached the limit of storage devices and needed to remove one (I only had four attached, one of which was holding music and pics for my HOME spaces.)

SNEA are turning the PS3 into a closed system like a pinball machine.  If I wanted to have my gaming experience controlled I would have bought a :fuck ing XBox (and everything else needed for their online gaming) - not a PS3...

From the info I can find, it is to patch that hole at the NudeBeachRing. Hope it didn't patch all the holes there.

All it does is correct an issue where it was possible to take shortcuts on certain layouts of the Nurburgring track.
Did they fix the $$$ glitch I have heard talked about?  Would think that would be the case.  Means nothing to me ... never tried it.

Only thing new is a TT in Lambo's at Monza, excluding race car versions. Tuned to max of 660hp and 980kg

Any car with 295hp or less, weighing 1200kg or more at Toscana using dirt tires...
Plus 2 new drift trials...

Not sure if it's related to the update, but I've been having trouble logging in. Last night I went through the shut down ritual and tried to follow Infiniti's instructions to resetting by server numbers but soon got dazed and confused and backed out. No matter. The next time I tried it it let me in. This was about 10:30 last night.

This morning, I can log in as UCan but not my other accounts. I have just gone through the shut down procedure again (PS3, network router, and my modem) and am about to try the other accounts again.

And yes, the update apparently closes the entrance to Wonderland that was discovered on the 24-hour NBR. I used it once and  know of no others at this time.

Funny how the online works... I've logged into the game in two different accts, this morning.  No trouble after doing the update.
Plus... The OCD is updated... Some oldies like the Superbird '70, Cougar XR-7 '67, Tempest Le Mans GTO '64, Cuda 440 six pack '71, Camaro SS '69, Chevelle SS 454 '70, Corvette Stingray L46 350 (C3) '69, Corvette Coupe (C2) '63 and the Shelby GT350R '65.  Plus some higher priced touring cars and rally cars, which I'm too lazy to type out.  :D
