Using that analogy (good one too), then I guess we can credit the resurgence of muscle cars to Metallica, Megadeth, and White Zombie.

They (PD) are adding too little too late people are walking away from the franchise by now. Cars and tracks added to the game should have been coming consistently since the six month anniversary of the release. The people are a big part of why I have played this as long as I have but PD's attitude about keeping the game fresh has driven away good racers nice job PD  :-\

Hmmm, yet another GT-R and a subi that we basically already have.  And, a buck a piece.

They tweaked the tire wear for endurance races.  Thank them for addressing that issue.  But, they failed to say what constitutes a endurance race.  Is it 30 laps, 50 laps, 100 laps?  One step forward, one step back.

Sorry, I'm in a foul mood today.  I just want to rip into PD and pop the :fucking ego.  When I see all the goodies that other companies are producing, it makes me wonder what in the hell they are thinking over there.  Is Kaz's dream now "The Academy" rather than GT?  Seems so in my eyes.

Sorry again, Negative Ned out!

I suspect the endurance races they are referring to are A-spec and not some online lap count.

The only car I would like to get is the new Honda.

I'm only guessing.

@epicfail. I concur there are many things they could change or adjust and endurance race tire wear was not even on my radar.

I agree the three cars at .99 a piece is kind of bullshitty, especially cuz two of them are versions of a car we already got for free.

but remember their descriptions for Updates are horrible.  we don't actually know what's in the update yet.

keep your pants on.

especially about tire wear etc.

we've proven over at the deathstar that indeed tire wear model and draft slipstream have changed significatnly in the past two weeks without an update.  some of that will be made perminent in this patch (I think).

We've discovered that we are apparently getting a lot of game settings directly from the servers we connect to, and not from our discs or HDD's.

There's things changing that are not listed in this update, or that may even be affected by it.

I suggest reading this thread if you can stand to get close enough to the deathstar.  I'll tell them to keep the tractor beam on low for a few days for ya ;)

I've bought every DLC they've spit out so far, I think I'm going to pass on this one.
