Just got done drifting the same car offline and online, and there is still a very noticeable difference between the two. Online still feels slicker than offline.

Apparently, the X2010 gift car is available now.

Confirmed.

There is now an X2010 time trial.  The prize for gold is 5 million credits and apparently they set the gold standard pretty low.

Yes, my game froze while accepting the X2010 gift.  Haven't tried playing.  I think everyone is on trying the time trial and getting their free X2010.

For those still grinding B-spec, remember to pick up an X2010 on your alternate accounts.  Then you can share it and use it without worrying about adding mileage.  I think that my original X2010 from my main account has permanently lost hp that doesn't come back with a rebuild.

Assuming the ticket can be gifted I have a couple to gift on a first come first served basis. I already got 2 of the nasty POS that I don't want

Thanks.  My original X2010 never saw a rebuild on engine or chasis until I finished B-Spec.  It doesn't get max power anymore either.  I never thought to share the car and use it from my other account.  Duh...

Kaz said on Twatter that the servers were overloaded with all the down loads. You think this is bad.....wait till the 2.0 update on the 11st! We may blow a server or two up.

The X2010 is for me, the least fun car to drive ever. Got my 5 million credits(barely), it can collect dust now.  :)

It requires you to forget everything you know about racing other cars. It's entirely counter-intuitive. Want it to hold the line in the corner? Better not let off the gas. The faster you go (to a very precise point), the better it handles. Cross the point and it's death.

Today was the first time I'd actually driven the thing and it's pretty frustrating (although once I got the hang of it things weren't so bad - I managed to get my 5 million credits on the first lap, which I needed desperately, by about 6 seconds, which included 2 massive shunts). I hopped in a 300hp Evo right afterward and it felt like it was going half the speed of smell and it looked like it had a Conestoga Wagon driving position comparatively.

The X2010 is best at one thing: getting you out of whack with "normal" cars. I bet mine gets dustier than yours quicker!

Pretty much the same story for me, managed a clean lap to swipe the credits and walked away.  I'm not even going to convert the gift ticket into an actual car, already got two of the damn things and that's two too many.  Vile, hateful cars that they are :).

I'd much rather have had a celebratory Red Bull F1 car, I might have actually driven that!  Or a similar colour scheme on a Formula-GT, but I'm sure there were licensing problems with that kind of thing.

Oh well, free is still free so I guess we shouldn't complain too loudly :).

I kind of like the car. I think that the better grip in corners with the throttle on is by design.  One of the big controversies in F1 this year has been with exhaust blown diffusers.  They keep the throttle on through corners to keep air flowing through the diffusers.  The X2010 doesn't need this since it has an engine to pull air out from under the car.  Instead the x2010 blows the exhaust right onto a mini wing on the back of the car.  If you look closely the X2010 has two wings, one apparently specifically for the exhaust.  Another thing that they can get away with since they don't have to follow rules.  Makes me wonder what else has been thought of in the car design.
