LOL at this news. Free car washes, WTF. I guess I should be happy I didn't need to buy 50 gallons of gas first. Free is nice, but washes are about free as it is.
Merry Christmas. Here's a GT-R and coupons to wash it. BAAAAAAHHHHHHH HUMBUG!!!!!
the car refresh tickets are not car washes... it is to restore it back to zero miles, as if never touched. Though, this is not like buying a new car, as we will retain our mods and tunes. That sounds like it doesn't make sense, but what they are apparently trying to provide us is a way to restore cars that have gone way beyond their typical restorability, such as prize cars that cannot be purchased again for any reason. It makes sense in these cases that we would not want to lose our tunes.
They are apparently also using this to appeaze us about being worried about over-using our new DLC cars, which currently cannot be purchased via the Dealership so that we can have two copies.
If that last part is true, then this means they have misunderstood our requests. Yes, restoring a car to it's zero mile state is a great thing for some of us and for some of our cars, but what we REALLY need is a way to have a bolt-ons only TC and a fully-modded one, completely with staged upgrades.
Many have been afraid to do un-checkable upgrades to any DLC cars, including me.
I hope I'm wrong and we will still be able to purchase multiple DLC cars from the dealership, but that was mysteriously missing from the update posts... So that's what leads me to believe they have gone down a different path and replaced that idea with the refresh tickets.
But even educated speculation is still speculation until the update hits.
