Strike that, reverse it. R1/R3 unless you enjoy having your throat torn out and life's blood drained.
hadn't tried that...
:dunno
i just noticed me losing rear tires REAL FAST. which caused my car to "drfit" alot thru corners. which wore my front tires out too... two laps (warm up lap and Lap 1) and I was half a tire all around... I must admit I usually have problems with MR vehicles other than Ferrari - but I liked the Spyker... For example, I have no control whatsoever in the Lotus Elise - but I felt fairly stable - if I controlled my throttle - in this little Dutch monster. (and I wasn't even wearing my wooden shoes. yet...)
when i put less tires in the rear (and controlled my throttle) I was able to extend the wear. grippy tires were great going into turns (with throttle under control) and I used the R1s to push the car down the straights.
another reason i did this was tire temp. As R3s it seemed the rear were heated up out the box (which increased their wear) but the front had to warm for a lap. it was easier to warm up R3s in the front which kept that more balanced as well. of course, YMMV...
