When I first got Spa, had friends out and the kart tracks. I'm not sure when the change happened but for the last two weeks No Go. The friend going gets a message that you have to get the track pack at the ps store.

You could free-ride onto Spa or KartSpace when it came out (including joining a room and making someone elses lounge when they weren't in it), but the next update killed the freerides for those tracks.

You can currently get on Route X without purchase (I have multiple times), I suspect they'll de-allow that with next update.

Seems to me they do this deliberately to have a try-b4-u-buy ... temporarily.

I concur, and this is news to me... Glad I bought em, but I guess they saw too many people playing on tracks for free that they want you to pay for...

Something weird is going on.
I got signed into PSN via PS3 about a hlaf hour ago, but can't get on the forum/blog for a couple hours.  GT TV server is not available, GT5 main server not available (conn. could not be established), Home closed for essential maintenance, and Store closed for maintenance.

PlayStation Home
Music Unlimited & Video Unlimited services
In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from us.playstation.com.
 
Users who are already signed into their account on PlayStation Network before the start of the maintenance should be able to stay signed in to their online session, but will not be able to access any of the services listed above. Users who attempt to sign-in to their PlayStation Network account after the start of the maintenance may be presented with the site maintenance notification page if they haven’t signed in recently.
 
During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game Trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.

Is there any rhyme or reason with the track list when going on your lobby. Is there any way to sort this list. It drives me crazy when looking for a track  .

I usually have to go up then all the way down again because I missed it.
