Well the new PP recalculation system they put in with the latest patch seems at first glance to be :fucking awful.
Case in point: Corvettes.. everyone likes those.
The new Bagless Prototype C7: unmodified = 526PP / 464hp / 1500kg or close
The '90 ZR-1 C4: fully modded, no wing = 519PP / 752hp / 1302kg or close
Granted there's a 20+ year gap in technology but somehow I don't think that really justifies almost a 300hp / 200kg advantage at around the same PP does it?
After a brief run through my garage this morning I see cars in multiple states of tuning that have lost anywhere from 15-60PP. Even race cars, the Super GT car I used for the seasonal (au Cerumo Supra) was over 600PP with it's current tune because I'd had the power reduced to about 598PP. Same tune but now with no power reduction it's only making 587PP, I think it dropped close to 20PP.
The Ford Mustang GT V8 premium thingum has gone from a dealership stock 443PP down to a classy 390PP, there are plenty more too.
This likely means any PP based events that were planned in the near future (particularly involving FR cars, haven't checked anything else yet) will have to be completely retested due to this "improvement".
