There are huge differences between the first and second gen Minis. They look the same but BMW had to keep the "look". But as for giving you a reason to give a shit about getting another Mini. I have got nothing.

Could someone explain why I should give a sh*t about the addition of the 2011 Mini Cooper S?  As best I can tell this car has barely changed over the years except when they switched from a supercharger to a turbocharger.  I.E. explain to me why this isn't lame.

Ok, so we're getting some more DLC and bonuses (If you can stand putting YET ANOTHER GT-R in your garage). And although they are going to up-grade the game with some technical shit (it's all good), WHY NOT ADD some tracks that are already (probably) on the CD's we already own?   
 


But the question was posed that IF we are getting the ability to change wheels on the standard cars, we're still not sure if they can be painted.  Which brings us to:

There are about 20 or so different wheel styles we can use for now to modify oh, say roughly 270 premium cars.  But what happens when we add the 700+ others to the wheel options - do we get some moar wheel styles to utilize, or are the 20 different wheel styles going to support 0ver 1050 cars? Just sayin'......

PD needs to think things through more thoroughly.......where is the option to change the oil in our lounges?  HUH?

2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R  <-- don't know

I'm not sure about performance, but it's a very cool looking car.

The Top Gear guys had a chance to drive the new Scirocco and were less than impressed with it. I personally love the the looks. I was really hoping for more than a couple of rehashed cars in this round of DLC though.

The common opinion for the Schirroco is that it is a less practical Gti :-$ having said that I think it looks great

The Top Gear guys had a chance to drive the new Scirocco and were less than impressed with it. I personally love the the looks. I was really hoping for more than a couple of rehashed cars in this round of DLC though.

I believe the Scirocco they tested was actually a diesel (if we're talking about the same episode), so it wasn't quite as peppy as a petrol GTi. But yeah, what Baked said: a better looking coughlesspracticalcough GTi.

The Euro took a hit this month, back below $1.30 exchange rate... if it keeps falling (c'mon, Greece, Spain and Portugal!) then maybe we'll see this stateside eventually...

For some reason, I'm not terribly disappointed that I won't be able to buy this DLC for a while.  In fact, I won't be in a rush to buy it when I do get my PS3 set up again.

More people drive smaller cars in Europe due to higher fuel costs and the size of some of their roads, so more options in small cars are better for them. Americans seem to only drive small cars because they have to in order to save on gas or just can't afford the bigger car they would really like to own. At least that's my best educated guess.
