For some reason I seemed generally off pace last night, possibly the car and possibly me too but it felt almost like I was driving through quicksand at times.  But I did enjoy the racing I had with folks for the brief time we were close :).

Did you change your oil?

Did you use that tip I gave ya?    ;)

Also, next time, one of us needs to be responsible for figuring out how much gas. Lesson learned.

Other than the weight reduction that I finally got around to doing last night, my car has not been touched since my initial tuning effort at Le Sarthe (like I usually do).  Transmission has been set to 201mph all along.  Didn't always make it there based on the track; but the car functioned pretty much the same and thus was relatively easy to manage.  Other than the mishap on lap 19 at Rome last week, I've not had any major wrecks this series - just an occasional unexpected spinout or fishtail.

Also also...  Gas was easy...  When I pitted on lap 12 I had over a half a tank and less than half a race left...  Didn't need any, but got 13 liters (for luck) knowing it wouldn't impact pit time.

Had fub!!!  Goos times!!!  Thanks for putting this on Leaf!

I could have taken no gas?

The first round of testing I did, tire wear and gas were on super fast. I made it 8 laps before I needed gas. I didn't try going all the way on fast, took 38 liters just to be safe.

Be careful taking no gas. It has been known to be costly. Best bet add 19 liters or less which will be in before/same time the tires are changed.

I've had over half a tank at half way, did not add any fuel and wound up using more in my second stint and ran out.

I did, well I tried to but it said I had fresh oil and it didn't need changing so I must've done it after the race last week :D.  I think it was probably just a combination of me and my tune, I was just a little off key  :lolz.

I think I have had a car behave similar to that in the past. I kinda felt is was a PD network bork, if possible next time try exiting the room and re-enter.

Although, it's possible it just fluctuates through out. Last night when Dawson mentioned he was not getting split times, I realized I was not getting them either. Even after he said he was I was still blank on splits. It wasn't until I got past nosoks that my split times came back.

I did that in the Practice room. In the actual race, I believe my best was a 1:57.1. I believe a 1:56 is possible. From what I saw, the practice room gives you absolutely perfect traction the entire time. Online, I believe you get that only one lap or so, so it's hit or miss if you can achieve that same lap time. For me, lap 4 or 5 seemed to give me the same grip that I had in the practice room. So while I could do lap after lap in practice to get it right, online you had to nail it when the tires were perfectly warmed up and not very worn.

I think the practice rooms do give perfect grip if you have tire wear turned off. And even with it on they still dont match online rooms like they should. Something I hope PD fixes in future versions of the game. The car and track should be the same practice to online and from room to room even. The inconsistency is disappointing.

Was not trying to be disparaging of your time rather making an observation of the inconsistencies within the game from room to room. No offense was intended.
